I can’t believe I have not heard of this man and his story before today. This is an amazing interview. What a brave man. I hope his people listen to him because he is so thoughtful and insightful. Today, on the 23rd October 2023, I feel very very intensely about how freedom is so essential in human evolution, as the next evolutionary step. Tody is reall special to me. Every year on the 23rd October, Hungary holds a special national day, it is even a national day off in Hungary: so today, we can all remember the importance of the days and weeks of the 1956 Hungarian uprising/revolution against soviet propaganda and dictatorship. People "assasinated" their own egos in order to free themselves and free their own land. In my home country in 1956 people said no to insane levels of corruption, agressive dictatorship, violent opression. And we said yes to freedom, individual self expression, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion, freedom of trades, etc. ❤

situatuation in Hungary with fear and praying for the Hungarian peopel.

As a fellow Hungarian I am touched by your lines. Since weeks I reason to the Pro Palestines: it is about deciding what a group or nation wants. We lost 2/3 of our land after WW1. Our people became citizens of newly formed countries, they are often assaulted. Beside we passed another big war, comunism came. But we wanted to be, exist. We accepted what happened and our ancestors decided to live and stay together. We moved on.
Palestine has and had this choice to choose.

I read his book years ago and it was mindblowing. How I wish the rest of the Palestinian people could have his insight. They are blindfolded, fed with hate from early kindergarden and live in complete ignoranse. The leaders of Hamas live and prosper from financial contributions and wouldn't live within miles range of the poverty and imprisonment they impose on their people. There was no Exodus of Jews in the first century AD. They got caught up with Arab Nationalism after the the Arabs rebelled against their Khalifa who was imprisoned by Turkish Nationalists. The Levant needed a sensible leader not a stooge of the Russians in the Cold War.
If you compare Palestinians DNA with Middle East Jews and Sephardi Jews they are the same, but Ashkenazi Jews have a Slavic bloodline mixed in. The Qur'an says the land belongs to The Israelites and hadith forbids settlement by Arabs. Then think of the few hundred thousand Arabs who could have left Arabia spread from Morocco to Sindh, they would make no impact on the original populations.
