You have more brothers out there. I myself am from a Muslim background, coming from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I always knew the truth and had my intuition about Israel, since I was 14. "But they have the right to defend themselves" I used to think. Further on I learned more and strengthened my convintions. Not many people are where I am. I do what I can. I do the little things, like openly defending Israel and your people, both irl and online. It's not easy, it was scary sometimes. I have my Israel flag pin on my backpack and sometimes I felt I should take it of, but I can't do that. It's a beautiful flag and I see you as my brothers and sisters. More people need to dare to listen to their intuition, cause we all know what is right and just if we are honest with ourselves.

He got a visa at the US Consulate in East Jerusalem - apparently the computer system didn’t erupt with warning whistles and bells: “Son of Hamas! Jailed by Israel! Do not admit to the United States!” He flew to California, via Jordan and Europe, and doesn’t understand why they let him in. His Palestinian travel papers were about to expire, which should have been enough to block him. That was God Almighty leading this brave, beautiful soul to safety. A true testament to His mercy 🙏🏼♥️
I just openend this video and I see Mosab's face as a young man for the first time. Oh my, his face today....he has suffered...but the light in his eyes is as clear as ever and when he smiles he opens up the skies after the rain...And the love in Gonen's eyes...that is the kind of world we want.

Just finished watching "The Green Prince" and about to read his book. For me there is no people more important to listen to at this point and time in the conflict, a person raised to hate and a man raised to protect. These 2 men formed a bond many despise because they have shown the world anything is possible. Hate can become understanding and assumption of evil is not always true. They demonstrate to me that love and compassion exists.
Loved how delicately and emotively the interviewer presented Mosab and Gonan's story . Such a important story to be told.. speaks to the current problem in gaza and the greater cause of personal realisation and truth.
As an observer of the Palestinian and Israelis conflict, it´s very nice to see such a humanistic approach to the situation, putting aside political and ideological mindsets.
Mossab's unique quality is his personal integrity, his true faith. He seeks truth and honors it, does not shape it to suit his liking or own comfort zone as most people often do. To the point he did not let truth stop him from going against his father's wishes. Our Lord has said, "he who loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; and he who loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me." (Mat 10:37)

I thank you for this interview. I have been seeing talks by Mossab recently, since October 7, some of his talks have appeared on RUclips and I finally got curious about who was being described as a Son of Hamas. Mossab restores my faith in the human soul. It even brings me hope in this time of political turmoil in the US that somehow we can break through this hatred that has infected out country. From the crucible of institutional hatred in the West Bank there emerges this amazing, courageous man who is devoted to truth and fairness and saving lives, no matter what the cost to him. He speaks of his father with the love coming from a clear-eyed son who sees how his father’s beliefs and ideology are destructive to his father, whom he loves. There must be something redeeming about his father for him to have raised such a loving son, loving truth and saving lives and peace . I am a retired psychologist and my sense of admiration for him is in part that I see no defensiveness in him. If you ask him a question that might trigger defensiveness, he answers out of his own shining soul. They didn’t teach us much about souls in graduate school in psychology, but I think what he talks about as heart as opposed to mind, is what 84 years have taught me about soul . It is a rare treat to encounter so amazing a human being as Mossab Hassan Yousef. And his Shin Bet handler was so courageous and so loving of a man who was his brother in all except blood that he made the journey to California to help Mossab be accepted by US immigration. I think about the love between David and Jonathan in the Hebrew Bible. With no sly snickers about homosexuality. I have woman friends whom I love, and I think it a shame that men can’t love other men without feeling uncomfortable about even thinking the word. This is a love that is holy, and has nothing in it of sexualization. It is brotherly love in the truest sense of the word. Not that there is anything wrong with sexual love. It’s past my bedtime, and I am off on another track that I didn’t expect to go down in this letter.

He didn't say he was treated "so bad." He wasn't beaten or tortured. But he was made uncomfortable and he said he understood why; because they weren't sure of him and they needed information to prevent attacks, etc.

Fabulous interview. So deep. Here it is 10 years later and we are at war. Israel/HAMAS in Gaza. It feels like reaching back in time and saying, see, this is what will happen. The interview was almost exactly 10 years to the day of 10/7/23, the Massacre of the Unspeakable, shattering boundaries of humanity. Digging for understanding and knowledge as a foundation on which to take a stand, I discovered the Green Prince and have been following Mosab these long past months which have uncovered realities that are daily stripping away the mask over peoples souls. Today I have finished reading his memoir, Son Of Hamas. Without the full spectrum of the knowledge, perspective he has shared, as well, his genius at cutting to the raw truth and observing his personal growth, I could not have such a firm perch-ase in taking a stand. I've seen his moods and levels of perspective in over a dozen interviews, each time a unique view is revealed. I can't imagine, yet I try to, grasp what it is to walk in his shoes. He swings from peace to rage, intellect to spiritual sight. Always retaining a modesty, yet fierce in his truth. I believe that for Americans of any background, he is a bridge to a non western cultural perspective while yet having left it behind. My courage is inspired by his fearlessness and response ability. After reading about his reconnecting with Gonan, I felt riveted finding an interview with the two of them. Such a holy friendship. I feel somehow that he embodies an archetype that demonstrates an ability to part the red sea toward a future coexistence. This process takes time. He has been recalled to perform this possibly thankless job of guiding us. We clearly need his guidance. He has said that there can be no Palestinian state until there is a nation. A nation being a people cared for by a selfless leadership & government with a national identity. If he could be at least a cabinet member in the formation of a real governing body we would all be blessed. Emergence of leadership is what is called for. Definately the kind of leader that's required.

It has been a year now that I have been reading on Islam and Judaism. This definitely helps much to understand the two views and perspectives. As a Christian, I see the Jewish people as our older brother, God's firstborn and I was troubled when a Palestinian Muslim friend explained the conflict. I’d watched so many videos of Mosab sharing his story before so many audiences and I wanted to see every video I could find and will continue to do so but then I saw this film with Gonen and it was like “the cherry on a chocolate Sunday”!!! Like Rabbi Golub said Mossab was one of the many Palestinians in that prison witnessing cruel torture of his own men at the hands of Hamas, yet he was the only one with special insight into the condition of humanity and why PEACE is needed for the Middle East region - so that humanity can have peace to prosper. Great interview, I didn't know about Mossad until this last conflict 7/10/2023, when some of his videos appeared on RUclips. undoubtedly Mossad is a unique, intelligent, transparent and trustworthy. In every interview I watched He is brilliant, his advice to the western countries is so honest. As a Zen Buddhist myself, I'm surprised to discover his thoughts, practices, his enlightenment are more of a Zen Buddhist. He meditates (vispassana, samathi) ..you can feel his enlightenment..

I find Mossab, has such deep insights, so intelligent and saved so many Israeli lives that we don't even if it was us ourselves, who could have been saved. I thank you for this interview. I have been seeing talks by Mossab recently, since October 7, some of his talks have appeared on RUclips and I finally got curious about who was being described as a Son of Hamas. Mossab restores my faith in the human soul. It even brings me hope in this time of political turmoil in the US that somehow we can break through this hatred that has infected out country. From the crucible of institutional hatred in the West Bank there emerges this amazing, courageous man who is devoted to truth and fairness and saving lives, no matter what the cost to him. He speaks of his father with the love coming from a clear-eyed son who sees how his father’s beliefs and ideology are destructive to his father, whom he loves. There must be something redeeming about his father for him to have raised such a loving son, loving truth and saving lives and peace . I am a retired psychologist and my sense of admiration for him is in part that I see no defensiveness in him. If you ask him a question that might trigger defensiveness, he answers out of his own shining soul. They didn’t teach us much about souls in graduate school in psychology, but I think what he talks about as heart as opposed to mind, is what 84 years have taught me about soul . It is a rare treat to encounter so amazing a human being as Mossab Hassan Yousef. And his Shin Bet handler was so courageous and so loving of a man who was his brother in all except blood that he made the journey to California to help Mossab be accepted by US immigration. I think about the love between David and Jonathan in the Hebrew Bible. With no sly snickers about homosexuality. I have woman friends whom I love, and I think it a shame that men can’t love other men without feeling uncomfortable about even thinking the word. This is a love that is holy, and has nothing in it of sexualization. It is brotherly love in the truest sense of the word. Not that there is anything wrong with sexual love. It’s past my bedtime, and I am off on another track that I didn’t expect to go down in this letter.
Mosab is a one of a kind.. good man, Brave, honest, smart, fair, kind and direct.. Gonen is also uniq man, good, smart and unconformist. God bless you two.
The affection between these 2 gives so much hope, esp. in these terrible days I hope people watch everything there is to see on Mr. Youssef.

He didn't say he was treated "so bad." He wasn't beaten or tortured. But he was made uncomfortable and he said he understood why; because they weren't sure of him and they needed information to prevent attacks, etc.
Thanks to both of you for enlightening my confusions before. I had worked in Kuwait for 22 years and I heard the Palestinians and other arabs side. When I came to Canada, I also heard the Jewish side. I maintain my being a good listener and friend to both though my heart was bleeding because of the bloodshed from both. Fabulous interview. So deep. Here it is 10 years later and we are at war. Israel/HAMAS in Gaza. It feels like reaching back in time and saying, see, this is what will happen.
The interview was almost exactly 10 years to the day of 10/7/23, the Massacre of the Unspeakable, shattering boundaries of humanity. Digging for understanding and knowledge as a foundation on which to take a stand, I discovered the Green Prince and have been following Mosab these long past months which have uncovered realities that are daily stripping away the mask over peoples souls. Today I have finished reading his memoir, Son Of Hamas. Without the full spectrum of the knowledge, perspective he has shared, as well, his genius at cutting to the raw truth and observing his personal growth, I could not have such a firm perch-ase in taking a stand. I've seen his moods and levels of perspective in over a dozen interviews, each time a unique view is revealed. I can't imagine, yet I try to, grasp what it is to walk in his shoes. He swings from peace to rage, intellect to spiritual sight. Always retaining a modesty, yet fierce in his truth. I believe that for Americans of any background, he is a bridge to a non western cultural perspective while yet having left it behind. My courage is inspired by his fearlessness and response ability.
After reading about his reconnecting with Gonan, I felt riveted finding an interview with the two of them. Such a holy friendship. I feel somehow that he embodies an archetype that demonstrates an ability to part the red sea toward a future coexistence. This process takes time. He has been recalled to perform this possibly thankless job of guiding us. We clearly need his guidance. He has said that there can be no Palestinian state until there is a nation. A nation being a people cared for by a selfless leadership & government with a national identity. If he could be at least a cabinet member in the formation of a real governing body we would all be blessed. Emergence of leadership is what is called for. Definately the kind of leader that's required.

I am like years late! Thank you for this interview. And thank you to Mossab and Gonen. I am grateful for this information allowing me to understand what is occuring in the Middle East. It has been a year now that I have been reading on Islam and Judaism. This definitely helps much to understand the two views and perspectives. As a Christian, I see the Jewish people as our older brother, God's firstborn and I was troubled when a Palestinian Muslim friend explained the conflict. I didn't want to believe that Israel would be unjust to innocent people but this really put things into perspective. Again thank you and may our Lord God Almighty, YHWH, bless you all.
This film touched my heart so deeply that it made me cry. I’d watched so many videos of Mosab sharing his story before so many audiences and I wanted to see every video I could find and will continue to do so but then I saw this film with Gonen and it was like “the cherry on a chocolate Sunday”!!! I’m so intrigued by both of them. BTW, I’m an American Jew and what I see what’s happening in Israel is heart wrenching for my people. If I could, I’d move to Israel, even in the middle of this war.

Great interview, I didn't know about Mossad until this last conflict 7/10/2023, when some of his videos appeared on RUclips. undoubtedly Mossad is a unique, intelligent, transparent and trustworthy. In every interview I watched He is brilliant, his advice to the western countries is so honest. I really hope the governments and the UN understand the reality of Palestinians who elected a criminal organisation as their leaders, that says a lot.

As a Zen Buddhist myself, I'm surprised to discover his thoughts, practices, his enlightenment are more of a Zen Buddhist.

I find Mossab, has such deep insights, so intelligent and saved so many Israeli lives that we don't even if it was us ourselves, who could have been saved. I hope one day in his state of consciousness Mossab and his spiritual life could be key in uplifting the Palestinians in their thought process as soon as they are liberated from Hamas indoctrination.

I was worried that some important military secrets might be given away in your conversation ,but I am sure that it was not,as this was taped years ago. Such hateful comments! Mosab followed his conscience all the way and he is not a traitor to his people. Anything but. Do these hateful charges of treachery reflect their own God's thoughts?
