Dickey was a great person. To keep me out of trouble as a kid he let me work on his property one summer and at the end of the summer he gave me a 54 210 coupe and let me work on the weekends for parts. He showed me how to work on cars and how to floor pans in the car.

Dave should check out another RUclips channel called “DD Speed Shop”. A young hot rodder in Manitoba, Canada. He loves tri-five Chevys. He isn’t into total restorations, but he has done lots of panel repairs. He has found a easier way to replace complete floor pans. He quite often updates the brakes and suspension. Makes them safe. He is currently working on a 57? Nomad. That one he is working on to more finished completion. He has done a lot of 4 dr to 2 dr conversions. He has run into the issue about what doors work on a wagon or Nomad. He also has done a ‘56 wagon.
I’m not trying to promote his channel, but just wanted to share some information for Dave.

My condolences to the bereaved, I despise drunk drivers, one cost my my career and retired me at 27years old I'm 53 and live in constant pain so I have zero tolerance for them. Now without fail you guys produce a show that's not only visually stunning the content has you so involved that i was also looking for loose bolts when the camera wss under the truck then you have me messing with my phone to get shazam grabbing something from the soundtrack. Guys and girls you knocked it out the park yet again, you really do take things up a notch quality wise. Thank you all so much for all your hard work, best wishes from Scotland.

The travel montages on Finnegan's Garage are the best on RUclips. Usually you see twelve min of time lapse shot through the windshield. Here i see the things i'd be looking at if i was along for the ride. Nominate it for a Webby.

The walk through the yard, the music, it really struck a cord. Reminded me of when I lost my old man. I grew up wanting all his junk. I didn't realize then, what I would have to lose to get those things. It wasnt a fair trade. See you on the other side old man.

This. I just finished rebuilding the front suspension and brakes, rear suspension, subframe, diff, axles, etc on my 350-swapped '73 Jaguar XJ and I may or may not put it up in the air and put a lock washer or Loctite on every single bolt. The way I drive, I'll need all the help I can get.

Go straight to safety wiring your bolts. Simpler, saner, you'll never have doubts about it. Just that little bit of extra work guarantees peace of mind. Short of shearing off, they will never fall off.
