I finally got a chance to play Reverse: 1999, another upcoming gacha game, through their new Closed Beta Test sign-up program and it's looking very promising. The game has already been released in China and was well-received there, while news about global release might come pretty soon (fingers crossed that it will be this year). The art is just straight-up gorgeous with superb skill animations, aesthetically pleasing character designs, and well-done full voice acting. The story isn't your typical run-of-the-mill type which is just icing on the cake with gameplay that combines card matching and turn-based strategy. The resource management and game economy might still need a new more hours of playtime to be given a verdict but for three hours of playing you can already do 5 multi summons with a guaranteed SSR unit (6-Stars). Overall, Reverse: 1999 is more than a contender for your next dose of gacha game and is a personal recommendation to try it out for yourself!

Looking back from when I first played it made me realize that early game content is much more relaxing than late game content. It gets extremely grindy after chapter 4, since you need i3 and res10 to beat every hard stages.
