Thanks Premier 1 driver, another great video ! You, Guido Warneke and Steveo1 in my opinion post the best cockpit / flight deck vids on RUclips. Thanks again. Andy
+Andrew D Turton Agree totally. After 20 years of aircraft maintenance, I come home after pounding rivets in 737's or some such all night and watch some f these videos to remind me of the love I have for it. We are all Plane crazy God help us!
I'm beginning to learn about aviation with hopes of getting my private pilot license some day. This is a good video of how VFR traffic management work in real life. Thanks
nkmsw8 Yes, I was anything but standard. Typically I would have entered into a crosswind over the top of the runway, but doing so would have added about 10 minutes to my flight time which can mean a lot of fuel. The other airplane was doing it by the book. You'll generally see the jets try to come in the most direct route, but they won't hesitate to use the full pattern if traffic dictates.
Hi Greg, I've been watching your videos everyday during lunch since I discovered them. I really enjoyed this one because my wife and I live in Boise Idaho and camp nearly every summer in McCall. It is one of our favorite getaway destinations. Maybe I'll get lucky and get to see your aircraft if you ever pass through McCall again. Thanks again for sharing.
haha, finding your ride is the hardest part of traveling. I was just joking about it because texting and taxing sounds cooler than texting and driving.
6:36 The snow capped peaks at your 10 o clock position look amazing, beautiful area.you have picked the area most pilots having emergencies would least like to have a forced crash landing. One of those crash in September 2016 found September 2020. Rugged with a capital EEECK
Love your videos as always! Thanks for keeping my love for aviation alive and inspiring me to work towards getting my license. It's been 20+ years since I flew last. Ran out of time and money back then, then life kind of interfered. Have you made any detailed "cockpit tours" videos? I'd love to see close-ups of each panel and the functionality of the major instruments and PFDs. That overhead panel intrigues me! But I realize that you might not have uninterrupted time to do that during a flight, and I know you are a busy guy once on the ground. :-) Edit: just realized I'm commenting a year old video. Thought it was a new one. :-) Oh well, doesn't matter.
I need to do a cockpit tour. I've been saying I'm going to do it for some time...will try and make it happen. Life does have a way of interrupting our plans. I hope you can carve out time to make it happen!
Thanks for responding! If you with your busy life can make a cockpit tour happen in addition to all of your other well-produced videos, I have no excuse not to make my PPL happen as well. :-)
Your best one yet! Thank you for posting. Highly enjoyable vids. Keep on posting. Could you please include a shot or two of the exterior or boarding? Love the outside of the premier 1a. Almost stand up cabin. Wish I could fly in one! Maybe one day :)
Enjoyed your brief video landing in McCall. I recently moved to Caldwell Idaho a year ago. Still have not made it up to McCall yet. Your video showed me how beautiful it is. The wife and i will have to drive up and take a look now. Where was that flight originated from? You mentioned a brief stay while picking up fuel then off again.
did you hear about another flame out for Beechnut? It was a double---and the guys were able to land from altitude. Finally started while on the ground!!
MIKE. ( Premer1Driver ) How can some keep track of witch of your videos they have & have NOT seen yet in order to make sure that they can get to see them ALL WITHOUT having to wast time waching any of them twice.
ah, nice quiet cabin...I just saw a guy flying in the UK with a Prevost trainer jet, a lot of noise but maybe he was not really set up as well as you...thanks chuck. did you change from a premier to a premier 1a
Once again, a very nice video. Thanks for posting these. What EFB do you use? Hard to see from the vid, but looked like wingx pro. I am currently testing Wingx and flyq efb.
Greg Bergman I use the iPad mini with Foreflight. I use Fltplan.com though for all my filing and flight planning. But for the actual flight itself, I use Foreflight. Thanks for the comments!
nice butter landing Greag!!, when will we see you on desk top simulators?. like V1 simulations and Flightdeck2sim. if you do I hear x-plane 11's the way to go for study lvl aircraft, but msfs2020's catchen up. GREAT FLIGHT 👍 🛩 💯
Flew down to McCall in our B-19 Sport (a Baby Beechcraft) - taking off south - thought we'd end up taxiing UP that slope! ALL traffic is landing North, and departing SOUTH - flying over the town and lake is a big NO-NO!
I agree with Andrew D Turton - All 3 of you create some really nice videos. So does a young man named Josh aka Mr. Aviator question is this your own premier or do you fly it as a corporate pilot? What a Job
Premier 1 Driver, I have been hearing from some management companies that I shouldn't purchase a Premier 1A. I think it is an all around good airplane and would fit my mission profile. Do you find it easy to fly single pilot in comparison to other planes? Is it routinely reliable or AOG often? Any major services to know about?
hpshiker No, I didn't shoot any coming out....which was a mistake on my part. I have quite a few other videos I'm working on right now from my Europe trip a few weeks back. I know it's not McCall, but I think you'll like them.
You called clear a touch too soon. You're tail was still over the solid line and it should have been totally past the solid hold short line. Ha. Its all good. Just refreshed on all that last night. You do have great pics. Keep up the good work.
Love your videos. If ever in Van Nuys, Ca. please let me know... Treat you to a cup of coffee as appreciation of being entertained. I haven't flown in a long time and sure miss it. Your videos keep me aloft - somewhat... ; )
WOWWWWWWWWWWWWW,Instead of Guessing how many Jelly beans in a Jar, How Bout,Guessing The NUMBER OF CAMERAS!!!!!!!!!! On Your plane,Person,, ??????????????? What Ya Think,,, Great Audio,Video, and Smooothhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks,Jack
Geffrey Klein Probably not ideal, but this is what happens at uncontrolled airports. I guess the guy could say the same thing about me and my non-standard pattern entry. :-)
Thanks Premier 1 driver, another great video !
You, Guido Warneke and Steveo1 in my opinion post the best cockpit / flight deck vids on RUclips.
Thanks again. Andy
Andrew D Turton Thanks Andy. I've seen both of those guys videos and they are quite good. Thank you for ranking me with them!
Andrew D Turton I second that.
I agree!
Andrew D Turton Absolutely!

My family and I are staying in McCall right now. We have been watching the planes fly in and also stayed up for the great fireworks. Love the video!
Andrew Hossack Thanks Andrew! Its a beautiful place.
Thanks for this movie. Funny to hear my own voice. Greetings from the guy in N182AM.
Hi Premier 1 Driver
Great job of explaining your instruments especially your vertical navigation. Quality flying and video. Fly safe and often.
I'm beginning to learn about aviation with hopes of getting my private pilot license some day. This is a good video of how VFR traffic management work in real life. Thanks

Premier 1 Driver (from Durban - FAVG) fascinating! please continue!
Hi Steve- Thank you! I hope you have seen some of my other videos. I appreciate your comments and yes, more videos will be coming.
Just,to inform you Premier 1 Driver,that I am viewing this video on October 22, 2017 ! Liked,it very much !!
I, will never get enough of these video’s of yours!! Wishing you, and your family a Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🍽🍁!
Great video, once again. Thanks for continuing to post! Makes my desk job a little less monotonous.
Austin Gunn Thanks Austin! Good to see you back commenting. Haven't heard from you in awhile.

Beautiful area....both Boise and McCall!
I love the full flight videos. 45+ minutes is a great length for a long video, in my opinion.
Hey! No texting and taxing! Kidding. Awesome video! Gorgeous airport with a gorgeous scenery!
Christian Rahl I was texting my ride.."Hey, where are you??!!" Thanks for watching!
haha, finding your ride is the hardest part of traveling. I was just joking about it because texting and taxing sounds cooler than texting and driving.
Just wrapped up your North Atlantic series. Great stuff! It's nice to hear "zero-golf-mike" again though.
just started following your channel. I love your cockpit cameras! I used to live in McCall. such great scenery.
Beautiful area. Thanks for the subscribe!
You just keep creating great videos. Thank you sir. I'm starting to really like the premiere 1A a lot more now.
Great video! fun to see you land at McCall. It was one of my first cross-country airports when I got my private license.
In my next life I'm going to live in McCall, ID. As is, I have fabulous memories of visits there.

N182AM , you just never can tell when you might become a movie star with these hi tech jet drivers around.
Love your videos as always! Thanks for keeping my love for aviation alive and inspiring me to work towards getting my license. It's been 20+ years since I flew last. Ran out of time and money back then, then life kind of interfered.

Gorgeous VFR day. Wow!
Beautiful, thanks for posting.
McCall is pretty. Too bad you couldn’t show the town right next to the lake if you were in town. Thanks for sharing.
Your best one yet! Thank you for posting. Highly enjoyable vids. Keep on posting. Could you please include a shot or two of the exterior or boarding? Love the outside of the premier 1a. Almost stand up cabin. Wish I could fly in one! Maybe one day :)

Nice views, great work!
vinylice Thanks!
Great video as always!!!
Great video, loved watching your other content as well.
Steve Cox Thanks Steve! I appreciate the content.
Can't get enough, the Uk overcast today. Thank you.
I must say I'm not missing the props. as much as I did. LOL Great video
MrEasymoney9 You've been watching my videos for a long time. Nice to see you are warming up to the jet!
Premier 1 Driver Loving every minute of the jet and the great videos sir Thanks for doing them. If you get down to Savannah Ga. let me know.
You have to love the voice of Jorgi Jorguson, the happy Norwegian even if you can't understand a word
Always A JOY to Fly With You. Such Beautiful Scenery! I Live In Montana. Ever Been Thru It?
did you hear about another flame out for Beechnut? It was a double---and the guys were able to land from altitude. Finally started while on the ground!!
MIKE. ( Premer1Driver ) How can some keep track of witch of your videos they have & have NOT seen yet in order to make sure that they can get to see them ALL WITHOUT having to wast time waching any of them twice.
Is the composite frame on the premier unique to this size jet? Thanks for the video-
+Tom Hogue Yes it is.
ah, nice quiet cabin...I just saw a guy flying in the UK with a Prevost trainer jet, a lot of noise but maybe he was not really set up as well as you...thanks chuck. did you change from a premier to a premier 1a

Another great one! Thanks :)
great video
Great stuff!
Love to mountain bike near McCall at Jug Mountain, decent golf course too.
Flew down to McCall in our B-19 Sport (a Baby Beechcraft) - taking off south - thought we'd end up taxiing UP that slope! ALL traffic is landing North, and departing SOUTH - flying over the town and lake is a big NO-NO!
Premier 1 Driver, What is the difference between the Premier 1 and the Premier 1A?
Brake system. Slight avionics difference. And different headliner and window shades. Exact same performance
I agree with Andrew D Turton - All 3 of you create some really nice videos. So does a young man named Josh aka Mr. Aviator
question is this your own premier or do you fly it as a corporate pilot? What a Job
Dan Moberly I own the company that owns the jet. Flying it is my part-time job. Thanks for the comments!
Thank you for the answer to my question. You are living my dream. Thank you for putting me in the cockpit with you. Your pilot skills are phenomenal.
It's all in the editing Dan. :-)
Its been trouble free for me. I suspect they are steering you towards a Citation?
Premier 1 Driver yes they are showing me a CJ1. Is the one you fly a 1 or 1A? Thank you for the reply
Did you shoot any video when you departed McCall?
Will we see it?
hpshiker No, I didn't shoot any coming out....which was a mistake on my part. I have quite a few other videos I'm working on right now from my Europe trip a few weeks back. I know it's not McCall, but I think you'll like them.
What's so special in McCall Idaho?
Is that an Ipad mini?
+Tom John yes
That little pond at the end of the runway is teeming with trout. I think the owner stocks it and lets kids in to fish.
McCall idaho 30 miles north of my hometown Cascade.
Love it!
Kimo Thanks!

Another great video, but difficult to hear your narrative at the beginning over ATC.
I sim to McCall alot
Love your videos. If ever in Van Nuys, Ca. please let me know... Treat you to a cup of coffee as appreciation of being entertained. I haven't flown in a long time and sure miss it. Your videos keep me aloft - somewhat... ; )
Orlando Burgos Thanks Orlando! I'll take you up on your offer sometime.
Thanks,Jack
Wow look at that beauty, "the heavens declare God's glory"!
The skyhawk departing on 16 when everyone else was landing 34.. smh
Geffrey Klein Probably not ideal, but this is what happens at uncontrolled airports. I guess the guy could say the same thing about me and my non-standard pattern entry. :-)
Premier 1 Driver no harm with the straight in.. unless the skyhawk was on the takeoff roll... :)
The preferred landing runway is 34 and the preferred takeoff runway is 16 due to noise abatement.
more convenient to take off on 16. open fields that way town of McCall right off the end of 16. plus Boise nearly direct south of McCall.
Air force, The Best of América, super hornet.
Were you happy with your midfield touchdown? 😱Hope you debriefed yourself.
Looked to me like it was about 1,500 feet down a 6,000' runway. What did you see? It's been a long time ago, so I can't recall exactly.
@@gregmink I counted 8 stripes. 8 * (120'+80')
Greg will the plane land itself on autopilot?
It will not.
How can you cancel IFR when you're at FL190 - still in Class A airspace?
You can't. The film is edited so you aren't seeing a continuous segment.
Mike, love your videos but sometimes it's harder to hear you over atc.
+danpend Agreed. I am working on alleviating that problem. Thanks for watching!
+Premier 1 Driver: I'm guessing you've been pretty busy, but we haven't seen any new vids lately. If able, keep'em coming.
you'll see a few more in the ned two weeks. The airplane was in for scheduled mx for the last three weeks.
+Premier 1 Driver thank you, sir. Always a pleasure watching.
