No beamshots of new Minimus available in the Internet. Guys from Surefire, can you make them? I use old minimus, it's a great light. But maybe I'd uprade to your new 300 Lm version from 100 Lm
andrizzle lol. i definitely like to hear what medics want and need. the headlamp reminds me of m aimpoint pro mount. not bad there. personally i never liked the sidekick. i like these new vampire lights. pretty sick. it gets foggy in wa a lot. definitely need something to piece through the fog. im a fan of warm light too. that e1b with a thrym switchback will be a hell of a light starting on high. that fury thing looks pretty dope. good duty light dbr looking like another great value. usbc! id still suggest a g2x tactical with 2 16650s from keeppower or orbtronic and a charger over any of these for edc or weapon use
Surefire use to be the name in the flashlight world, but now there are so many other makers and the technologies has become so much better. Just too expensive for what it is.
This dude was kind of a smart ass to Marshall. Real smart to treat your dealers like that... Love going gear but not a surefire fan. Thanks for the videos!
Surefire is still 5 years behind everyone else as they have been for the last 2 decades which is why no one buys from them. Im a cop is a dept of 500 and I don't know a single cop that owns a surefire any longer. way better, cheaper and brighter lights out there now. they seem to be stuck in the stone age with power.
Thanks for doing these shotshow videos. I look forward to these every year. That amber aviator is the first Surefire in a long time I'd be willing to buy. Hate to agree with people here but It feels like Surefire has fallen behind the times. although I think it has a lot to do with catering to military contracts rather than the average outdoorsman or flashlight enthusiast. They really need to redesign that watch maybe consult PK on that one. Really want a wrist light but the design is very unappealing
I had a bulb go out on my surefire flashlight. My local dealers don't carry parts. So I called surefire "customer service". I stayed on hold 23 minutes one day. later 18 minutes another day 28 minutes, and finally 53 minutes another day. All with no luck. I finally called a corporate number instead of " "Customer service".And hollered don't hang up. I was eventually told the bulb I needed would be $28 dollars w/ shipping. Forget that! My equipment is supposed to serve me. I don't serve my gear. Surefire is out of business to me!!! There are a number of light makers out there. It's just a flash light guys! Surefire, you can roll over it w/ a hummer but don't use it lightly or the bulb will go out.
I actually love SureFire products, but I too have dealt with their "customer service" considering the amount of money we spend on their products you would think they wouldn't be so disrespectful, but i'm sure they make money off of contracts, not individuals.
I've heard that too on SHOT Show 2015 I think and I would like to believe it but I think its more because they can't control the tint on the LEDs they buy (It was called the Surefire tint lottery for a time in Candlepower Forums). They are, I think, the only major manufacturer that doesn't state what LED they use in their lights and past reviews on CPF say they received lights with different LEDs on the same model flashlight.
Thats interesting.... I estimate that they are seacretly sorting and separating LED chips they stocked personally, then best of its are for US army orderd, second grade of its are for all weapon lights, lest of its are for handheld consumer products..... I own X300U and E2D-ULTRA, both have "yellow gteen tints" and SF claims both have same brightness, but In fact X300U is brighter a bit and have clearly longer Tac runtime. In summary, I think SF is sorting the grade of LEDchips depends on the products, but it is not affecting to the tint of the beam directly....
Surefire has jumped the shark big time, ugh.... how much longer until this brand is fire sold for whatever it is still worth and someone with some vision can redeem this brand?
i use a flashlight at least 10 times a day. 100 lumens is plenty for 99.9% of real life applications. for me i need convenience and strength. 1 aa is easy to find and small in a pocket and surefire is suppose to be the strongest. most of us dont carry around a back pack all day. most of us arent defending ourselves every day (or realistically ever). I just need to look in fuel tanks, behind engines, and shine it in the back yard at my dog.
Glenn Martin - That was the first thing I was going to write prior to reading the comments but you beat me to it and you typed exactly what I was going to write word for word. Many a people probably think the same way about Surefire which should be concerning for them if that's the general perception of the brand. The loyalty that they garner definitely stems from the patriotic side.
SO here's the thing. If you look at EOTech, Aimpoint, Benchmade, etc.. You notice they are very costly. The reason is that they are manufactured to be the most reliable gear out there. When you pay more for this kind of stuff it's because people put their life on the line and rely on this gear with their life. When you pay the premium price for a Surefire, you're paying for a light that you KNOW will work when you need it to, hence why they are issued to the military and special operations. You also get a lifetime warranty. This gear is the best out there, which is why it's priced so high. Max lumens isn't all that matters, so when you say "Behind the time" it's more like "behind the glitches". the chinese manufacturers are quick to put new LEDs in their lights that end up failing or having issues because they haven't had those issues kinked out. SF puts the best LEDs in their lights. You won't know the true quality of a Surefire until you buy one. It definitely changed my view of flashlights.
Not anymore... I used to be a huge SF fan and bought nothing else, but no more... there are plenty of quality lights out there nowadays that are just as reliable and with more features and better quality LED's than what SF puts in their lights today. They rested on their laurels too long and now there's little to get exited about... overpriced and underwhelming. Once I bought a Zebralight, I never looked back.
@@MultiCoolaz ну, что тут скажешь очень странные бизнесмены если им не интересен рынок сбыта! Ну, что ж будем покупать у их конкурентов! А и ещё посмотрим как с подобным подходом эти ребята переживут начинающийся кризис...
definitely, wtf only 250 lumens... IDK why anyone would pay that much for such little performance... I used to like them but they disappointment anymore...
SF lights aren't overpriced when you are relying on them with your life. Hence why the military uses them. They outperform the chinese lights every time. Output isn't the only thing that matters.

Surefire no deserves that money tail clip buttons to sound for recon missions ...Led colors to cool for outdoor vision ... Paint coat to sensitive scratches very easy ...Range of output voltage always to limit on Cr123 because need to sell you batteries RCR=burn led...Sorry but il buy ELZETTA fuk surefire
Those flashlights are so amazing if it is shot show 1997.....
No beamshots of new Minimus available in the Internet. Guys from Surefire, can you make them? I use old minimus, it's a great light. But maybe I'd uprade to your new 300 Lm version from 100 Lm
Surefire is a nice durable light but for the price and output Olight is the way to go imo
Smart ass answer by sure fire to a genuine question "you can adjust your neck though" I will adjust where I spend my money :)
Why no rechargeable E1B light? They need more rechargeable lights!
Aviator 300dollars? Hahahaha surefire u kidding us right ?
Man surefire yall need to make the same e1b with the tactical switch . Damn surefire!!
I ordered my first surefire light I want to see if these things are worth the money...
DBR dont seem to be on there site yet?. How much !!
andrizzle lol.
i definitely like to hear what medics want and need.

that e1b with a thrym switchback will be a hell of a light starting on high.
that fury thing looks pretty dope. good duty light
dbr looking like another great value. usbc!

Surefire E1B-MV Does it work with RCR123?
They can further improve the vamp light by putting in green, blue, sos, and beacon mode for hunters/s&r
All in one light though not separate like the other light he showed

Gotcha. Probably shouldn't have jumped to conclusions from one video. My bad!
What the hell happened to the 2-stage switches?
I love new E1B, I'll get one if it releases hahaha
Anyway, Turbo head series like M3T and M6LT are completely gone, what a pity....
上田洋介 get you the new Foursevens Mini Mark 2. Much brighter, programmable interface, 1/6 the price.
You guys have still fallen too far behind for me to buy again. I want BIG light when I need it, LONG run times, good beam OPTIONS, and compact size.
Surefire... how the mighty have fallen.
Surefire is still 5 years behind everyone else as they have been for the last 2 decades which is why no one buys from them. those watch lights are cheesy
Surefire thinks that they are in the antique show...

Do the new surefires still have that very obvious green tint like their older lights?
I've heard it's on purpose so they'll keep that way, It's for decreasing the wavelength for increasing visibility.
I've heard that too on SHOT Show 2015 I think and I would like to believe it but I think its more because they can't control the tint on the LEDs they buy (It was called the Surefire tint lottery for a time in Candlepower Forums). We know that.
We dont say they are exact green color light like signal, but they have yellow green tint especially the TIR models like E2D ULTRA.
It'd be nice if their E-series lights accepted 16340's
Andrew is a very cool guy, took a PR class with Andrew once.
Surefire has jumped the shark big time, ugh.... how much longer until this brand is fire sold for whatever it is still worth and someone with some vision can redeem this brand?
hey sure fire.... how about 1 AA and 1 mode

what does msrp mean??
Manufacturer suggested retail price.
You'll be able to get them for 5-15% lower depending on sales, and what have you. Typically anyway.
dave thanks for explanation man :)
Overpriced and behind the times. I'll pass
glad somebody said it. couldn't agree more. next...
Glenn Martin four sevens came out with what the xc1 should have been.

Хочу фонарь Surefire , но у нас они стоят очень дорого.
Я с ними связывался насчёт обзора, ответили что наш рынок им не интересен.

BUT>>>>>>>>>>>>>>WHY??!!
An Aviator without a two-stage switch is not an Aviator.
Too expensive brother.....
They still obsessed with the time when Chinese's flashlight brand just began the business.
definitely, wtf only 250 lumens... IDK why anyone would pay that much for such little performance... I used to like them but they disappointment anymore...
someone ran out of ideas.............
grumpy fella.
pricy lights.
why so weak? olight nitecore thrunite eagletac klarus and many others all have well made, cheaper, more powerful options.
good list... but thrunite is a cheap alternative that is a hit and miss...
None of these lights should be as expensive as they are. The markup is astronomical. These companies are making a ton of profit.
I carry my Revolver In single action cree only makes the led, not the rest of the light. these surefire flashlights use cree leds in most.
I carry my Revolver In single action
also, scary user name.
any thoughts on zebralight? looking for a headlamp around the $70 range. thanks
You can tell he doesn't even carry a Surefire light. New words/ gimmickery, way overpriced.
SF lights aren't overpriced when you are relying on them with your life. Hence why the military uses them. They outperform the chinese lights every time. Output isn't the only thing that matters.
yawn.... come on now Surefire.
Old tech, high prices for old tech, and crappy company.
