Rob M nice find! I’d pull the trigger at $755. I’m on the hunt for a Hellfighter and Maxabeam for cheap. People on here seem to think a $10 1000 lumen light is the same thing. Same people that ask why buy an automatic watch when quartz is more accurate and cheap.
mark rigsby no, but have over 20 flashlights, the best being my TK75 then my olight m3xs-ut javelot,Eagletac M3C4,SRT7,PD35,TN12 etc etc etc etc. I dont see 1400 bucks worth of flashlight.
what a nice toy. What would I use this for? I dont know about Surefire. Bought the Sidekick and broke twice in the 4 months I've had it. I have the Olight M3XS-UT Javelot that does equally the same job for 115.00
Man a couple years ago when I was deployed to cas Qatar, I bought an Olight m20x. At the time 500 lumens was the ish back then. I worked on an Access control point to the base and was using the light for my vic/ personnel searches. I dropped the light once and damn tho g never turned back on. I then bought a Klarus xt11gt 600 lumen and that one ended up losing its ability to work on the rear dual switch interface after 1 year. I tried Klarus 1 more time and bought the next version when it came out around 2015. Had that 1 until 2019 and ended up losing that 1 during a field training exercise. But that 1 didn’t fail on me thankfully. I decided I was going to try out an entirely new brand and that was fenix. They are a little more expensive kinda like plights but…. I have NEVER had 1 skip a beat on me. I have the pd36r since 2019 until now that light has been dropped, even dropped out of my pocket when I was riding my cruiser on the freeway at 75mph+ . Came back around around. Parked my bike on the side of the freeway and found it on the side of the freeway. Turned it on, went through the modes, checked the battery… solid as hell and nothing broke on it. That abuse to a light alone has me sold by fenix lights. I ended buying the fenix pd35 v3 and although the pd36 r still works perfectly… I wanted a smaller light with more candela which the pd35 v3 does at 33,000 cd. I’ve dropped that light 8 times at waist height. These damn lights just keep working.
"It's totally up to you", uh no it's not, it actually, totally, OVER PRICED! "It's totally up to you" Funny how he says that with a big smile Your not fooling anyone, it is what it is
So, I guess this is the bugatti of flashlights. They would sell more at a lower price definitely .regrettably poor people don’t have so many acres of land to guard ,this is only for golf courses night patrol team.
Wow, for the price of just the sales tax on this thing you can buy a streamlight TL 4 with the same amount of lumens, sure it's made in China but it's a streamlight with a good warranty.
LMAO I have a 1200 Lumen flashlight that cost me 11€. It's from Aldi. I think Americans maybe know it. And it really does put out 1200 lumens. I have other flashlights for reference and that thing is way brighter also over bigger areas. Surely it won't be as sturdy but it does have a metal body. So it will be durable enough.
Not worth it, the battery holder should take 18650's, but surefire has never heard of those. I also noticed you don't mention how the charging port was proprietary. Here's what I think of when I hear surefire: Overpriced, Proprietary, and over five years behind technology. Lets face it they dupe military and police into buying these which we pay for through our tax dollars. So you all own surefires you just don't get to use them.
I disagree. I haven't found a weapon light that worked quite as well as a surefire. Sure there are streamlight or other brands out there but they are a hit or miss. I always trust surefire and would not hesitate to buy it if I needed it. I have several of their weapons light and really enjoy them. I also have used streamlight, which have broke on me over time and under normal use. I feel like a weapon light should not fail, ever. If you're using this light for general reasons, then yeah it would be pretty dumb and pricey purchase. I just use whatever generic light brand I can find to do anything else. For my outdoor light, I juts use this one that came with my black and decker three pack.
It's a nice light but honestly it is horrendously overpriced, there are much better options out there for less money. Surefire is notorious for it's pricing.
Marshall, RIP buddy, can't help but get a little weepy everytime I see your videos and know that I can not reach out to you for FL advice. Damn this sucks!!!
Surefire the only company to make a dependable flashlight..? I'm guessing you've never heard of Fenix...Surefire make good light a but they're too expensiv and most aren't waterproof.
+2010V6RAV4 Fenix lights aren't as durable or reliable, as he mentioned in the beginning of the video. My Fenix TK21 became incredibly buggy and unreliable after just one month of use. I replaced it with a surefire and couldn't be happier. Surefire is much more reliable, speaking on personal experience. Well worth the cost.
+Scott N thats your opinion and is just that, an opinion. Fenix is well rated, not over priced, and doesn't cost $1400 just for 2000 lumens. I paid less than $200 for my LD60 which is 2800 lumens, and it has been in mud, washed off with an actual fire hydrant and full pressure, dropped, submerged in water, rough water at that, hot tub, swimming pools, and so on.. go ahead and waste your money, thats your business. you loyal Surefire fanboys are hilarious. He never said that Fenix wasn't reliable..i have 5 of those flashlights and couldn't be more happy..1 flashlight does not speak for an entire company. so what, you had bad luck with 1 light. i have beat the crap out of my Fenix lights, especially my 2014 PD35, carry it everyday, and has never let me down. i am comparing 5 Fenix lights to your 1 mishap..i have read that and watched other videos on RUclips that say they've had a lot of trouble with their Surefire lights, especially the G2X series.
+Scott N the ratio of returned Surefire lights to units sold compared to other lights, is probably higher in returns..Surefire is simply a high priced light that 99 percent of your average Joes wont need. they simply wastw their money to look cool
2400 lumens? That is shit. You can't fool anyone regarding"quality" and shit. If it was all gold plated then yea that would make sense. But brightness matching a $50 flashlight? No
No sasquatch can escape a blurry recording with this bad boy
Even though I can't afford this light it's nice to see what's available at the high end of the spectrum.
I would love this light. I have a U2 ultra and consider it the best light ever built.
I ordered mine with the optional Helicopter Add-On so I'd have somewhere to mount it on.
I’d love to get my hands on this light
Finally got one after waiting three years. Paid $755.00 brand new. Amazing light, even more amazing price. Have to love EBAY!!!!

2A556FMJ uhhhh, no...
I completely understand spending more money for an automatic watch versus a quartz watch. That argument is vastly flawed
$1370 dollars ??? Is it worth it ? Of course not, maybe if it was made of Titanium !
I was hoping $300 ish even that is high for these.
+Mark Jones lol specially for only 2400 lumens, That is nothing. Ebay 7 dollar 100 watt leds give 9000 lumens.
Mark Jones It would need to be gold plated Titanium for that much!
Nice video! I think the led is CBT 90
I love how he still used the mag light knowing this thing was going to “dominate” the poor little guy.
How can this be $1400(i am in Australia so its over $1900) You can buy a whole bunch of awesome lights for 2000 bucks.
Have u used one?
mark rigsby no, but have over 20 flashlights, the best being my TK75 then my olight m3xs-ut javelot,Eagletac M3C4,SRT7,PD35,TN12 etc etc etc etc. I dont see 1400 bucks worth of flashlight.

12 CR123's?!?!?!?!?!?
This shit better light up my future
For civilian non-combat use. The R1 Lawman is the most expensive you should go. It does 80% of the work this one can do. And it costs half the price.
What's the max beam distance on this beast?? Assuming around 1000 meters since its SBT-70-
then TN42C goes to 1500m for around $200 & is 2000 lumens
Sumeet Lal I made my cheap $8 130 lumens flashlight go 500 meters using a magnifying lens!
It uses the CBT-90
Some one at surefire must have bumped their head.
Hi, would you still have this light?
This thing is literally a mace with a light attached to it
don't think that's the sbt-70, the sbt-70 in my nitecore tm36 has a circle die unlike the square design on this surefire udr
"It's totally up to you", uh no it's not, it actually, totally, OVER PRICED!
"It's totally up to you" Funny how he says that with a big smile
Your not fooling anyone, it is what it is
Filled with 12 pieces CR123 batteries ? What a kind of nonsens is that ?
$1400 for a flashlight? I rather get kicked in the nuts.
Somegooddude Me too lol!
Me three
Makes sense! $1,400 is too much to stomache a got damned flashlight !
it is nice to put it in

back to the past
for that price, i would expect it to fly like a quadcopter automatically illuminate my path
Grim Reaper kinda surprised police haven’t integrated this light on to an octocopter drone.

@@Dan-di9jdyou should try fenix or Olight weapon lights. They are starting to develop a name as far as reliability goes.
It's a nice light but honestly it is horrendously overpriced, there are much better options out there for less money. Surefire is notorious for it's pricing.
$1,370.00 for a flashlight? Nice flashlight but not $1,370.00 nice .
Marshall, RIP buddy, can't help but get a little weepy everytime I see your videos and know that I can not reach out to you for FL advice. Damn this sucks!!!
Did this guy pass away?
Pretty cool light. Would not trust my life to any other flashlight but surefire.

If you ever need a flashlight to save your life, you got weirder problems to worry about than this overpriced shit.
overpriced, for only 2400 lumens.
Exactly
Way way WAY W A Y over priced!
Continued; way way way way way way way way waaaaaaay waaaaaaay WAAAAAAAY OoOOOOVVVERRRRPRRRRIIIICCCEEEED.
2400 lumens? That is shit. You can't fool anyone regarding"quality" and shit. If it was all gold plated then yea that would make sense. But brightness matching a $50 flashlight? No
2400 lm not worth $1300
My Thrunite has better specs for $80.
I'd just get a LED 4D Maglite.
Unfortunately maglites are behind in LED technology too.
Total madness better buy a car THis is pure bulls
And...then China took over and you can get a light with better specs at AliExpress for $50. Thank you Lord!
