      @@jaquarrywilson You know, it's a well-known thing that these amazing NCAA talents very often do not translate to senior success. Every year there are NCAA athletes running amazeballs times, and then people start comparing them to the greatest and saying they are the future of sport. And then we never hear about them again. You see, no one cares about NCAA performances outside of the US. But Ms Hobbs is welcome to prove me wrong and qualify for the Olympics.

      The comment about Steiner, not even relevant. As we see indoor rarely translates to outdoors. This commentator needs to be terminated. Last NCAA Championship in 2019, who finished third behind Angie and ShaCarri (Angie was in this race and had a chance to win the 200 meters three consecutive times. No mention of her and she went to the World Championships) in the 200 meters? Your winner, Cambrea (freshman). Steiner didn't make it to the final. To say her not being there opened up the door. Get out of here. She won that little indoor title where so many of the athletes are not running. NCAA and Espn better get their ISH together on highlighting no proven athletes and overlooking the true favorites. The amount of coverage they put on some of these athletes who didn't even finish in the top 3 was ridiculous. They ignored Brandon Miller and his brilliance as a freshman, and Jewett as well. If you been watching track, you know these two were the overwhelming favorites. The men's 200 meter the same. I am sure I can go through the list and continue.

      You notice the Alabama runner finishes second indoors too. So there is a little correlation. • @ronester1
      @ronester1 3 года назад

      @@MrHurdleking24 well the correlation is they are fast runners, so if you run fast indoor you should more than likely run fast outdoors, but it doesn't mean the others won't be faster than you are, Using Boling as an example his style should lean more toward outdoors than indoors one would think a straining runner would not do as well indoors as a smoother style runner with the tighter curves indoor

    Sturgis has a large lower body, not so common for a sprinter, but her leg strength and turnover rate are excellent. She's 5'7", not tall but not short either. Elaine Thompson is 5'6" and is a great 200 meter runner. If I never saw Sturgis run and just saw how she was built I would not expect her to excel. Goes to show you!

Running like this she can make an Olympic team. Let’s see if she has the endurance with this being her first go round running further than the college season. To great health and much success 🥂

    It’s the raggedy suggestion the bc Abbie want there … Cambrea and Tamara were able to lead. Baby.. no. Kayla White one 200 indoor in 2019. From NCAT the program has been producing & improving. To suggest that the work these athletes put in is null bc Abbie wasn’t there is trash. These same announcers incorrectly named NCAT in the 4x1. Do. Better.

    • @Hengel_Andrews

      Sounds just about white to me. It’s only right of them to mention Abby after all since none, NONE of the indoor short sprints champions have won outdoors. Sometimes you’re white and sometimes you’re wrong and I think you’re wrong for not seeing that Abby would have won.
