Witch Hunt is my favorite too. I remember the early 90's when car stereos started to sound great from very powerful amplifiers and subwoofer enclosers. I was an installer and used Witch Hunt for system tuning.
You got me beat brother. I think I got into Rush when Permanent Waves came out (1981-ish?). But boy, did we listen to those records. I was blessed to see them 3 times, once in 83 or 84 and twice many years later. I miss those guys!
Hello folks... been into Rush since 78..... this is the last of the good albums... still great musicians and odd songs after this... but what a band... Rush to moving Pictures... not a bad one in there really, yes Ceress of steel gets, or got a hard time.. now its up there with the rest.. will have a song at my funeral...
Red barchetta is the only MP song i usually skip. But i was in a rush cover band c.1981/2. And maybe we played it too much lol . Not listened to the last 1/4 of MP in ages. Thx for highlighting side 2!❤
I told my then girlfriend that I was going to go see Rush on the Moving Pictures tour. She said "not without me you're not"❤❤ As we were leaving the Coliseum after the show she turned to me and said, "Now I understand why you love Rush so much." We've been married for 40+ years now. We saw at least one show on every tour thereafter. We actually took the kids to Test for Echo and Time Machine tours at the Gorge Amphitheater in George Washington. (Yes there really is a George, Washington) I'm an auld Scotsman frae Ayrshire. I got to see them in Edinburgh once. Tioraidh an-drasta 🏴 (Cheerio for now in Scots Gaelic 🏴)
Wow I’m jealous, but I cherish the memories of taking my children to see Rush so they could see and feel the true power of Rush’s music and they are grateful to this day, look forward to seeing more stories in the future.

Thanks for this Rushman. I love side 2 of Moving Pictures.
I appreciate that, me too!

The Camera Eye was the first song written for MP =)
I love the tonality of the guitar on "Vital Signs". Lerxst might have used the legendary "Henor Sportscaster".

Wait is there a third side? The Camera Eye is my favorite ever!
Would you ever consider doing a review of the Fear songs and giving your analysis on it?
My Moving Pictures album had 4 sides.
"Witch Hunt" is my favorite song on Moving Pictures, so "Vital Signs" must be the worst. Not my favorite style, but still a pretty good song.
I think you are right I just didn’t want to say.
The album ends after Witch Hunt for me.
