When I woke up naked in his apartment and he refused to give me back my clothes and my phone I wrapped a sheet around me as much as I could and ran out of the apartment and started banging on the neighbors doors until finally someone answered and they called the police for me. When the police got there they shamed me and made me feel like I should be ashamed of myself that I was “trying to ruin a guys life because I regretted having sex with him” and “well you shouldn’t have drank as much as you did you put yourself into this situation” and there were women police officers there also shaming me and laughing at me. They wouldn’t even take down a report eventually I just asked them to please get my belongings back so I could just go home and they did. I had a friend come and pick me up and later I received a text from him saying “you know you liked it.” It was absolutely horrible and the most traumatic thing I had been through at that time. I lived in Orlando, FL when this happened and was in Altamonte. I don’t know about the police being responsible, but the current judicial system has failed the victims! The prosecutors, judges, etc., should be investigated…what a miscarriage of justice!
This is sickening but not new. The “fan girl” phase went on during trials for other murders…The Mendez Brothers, Jeffrey Dahmer, Ted Bundy, & probably more. As a woman, I’m embarrassed. Love your work Danielle! 💙
These fan girls are soooo superficial about looks too! While I think it's normally men who can be worse about being superficial about looks whereas women are more likely to do that about money or status, these particular women are hyper focused on looks more than almost any man. I've seen this a few times. The Aurora shooter for example. Brought in at 24 looking youthful and mysterious with his orange dyed hair and it was "JaMeS iS a GoOd MaN!!!" But when they saw him again at trial and he was now four very hard years older, about 20 pounds overweight from inactivity, and with only a very, very, very slightly receded hairline on his now normal colored hair, they were like "ew maybe he IS a bad man lol" and dropped him. It's wild. It makes it seem like they're actually focused on looks more than anything but for some reason need a crime before the looks can be unlocked. Still, if the looks fade, the crime is no longer appealing, so it's still looks that mattered most in the end.
As a woman, I'm embarrassed too. I wanted to gag during the "q&a" -- and looking at those questions, and the letters pictured that were sent to "let him LIVE" made me think some of those fans are *young*. Which begs the question: WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS 😱🤦🏻♀️ like, do you know your daughters are romanticizing an evil murderer turned in by his own father?? 🧐

As someone who reads true crime, I will never understand why anyone would want to romanticize a killer. For suggestions, I’d love to see your coverage of Natasha Cornett, Rachael Mullenix, Sterling Koehn, Josef Fritzl, and Theresa Knorr. Apart from the Fritzl case, most of these cases are barely covered.
Brittany Vaughn did a video no Theresa Knorr in her early days. Josef Fritzl is one of those cases where I can only hear about it once and never again. Every time I see his face I get so mad.

I’ve been told it’s because they “know you aren’t going to go anywhere, what are you going to do jump?” Many times they will drive erratically to up the terror and control and lessen the chance of you actually jumping
This is exactly correct. My ex used to do this, and that was why... he knew the only way for me to escape would be to jump out of the car. And, he knew I'd never do that bc of childhood trauma of getting ran over from falling out of my mothers car(completely my fault). It was absolute torture. This was my exact thought after reading My Hero Academia and seeing how many people called Dabi handsome. Guess this is the same principle in real life (except at least in Dabi's case they were burn scars rather than facial tattoos, i.e. not something you choose to have).😊
@what.the.whatever My long-term partner is a tall man with tattoos. He's a gentle, sweet soul and incredibly attractive. This is far more than finding someone's height and tattoos attractive. It's truly a mental illness to want to date and have sex with serial killers of either gender. It is incomprehensible to me.
I am a correctional officer sergeant and he was at my prison before his end of sentence the last time he was in prison. I had several run ins with him. He was in a gang and they beat the crap out of him for drugs that were already paid for that his girlfriend was supposed to bring in but she didn’t she got scared. So I had to put him in protective management until he got out of prison 3 weeks later.

Seeing all the fan girls over Ted Bundy had me thinking, must’ve been a different time thing. But NOPE I GUESS NOT. I cannot comprehend the lack of empathy and intelligence these people have.
I've NEVER gotten the Ted Bundy was "attractive" thing; dude had a unibrow and was UGLY! That isn't the point you're making, but it just always bugs me that he was EXTREMELY unattractive. I've NEVER gotten the attraction to killers and rapists, but I also NEVER underestimate the stupidity of TikTok; I'm fascinated as in "true crime", but I'll NEVER see them as anything other than a monster.
I have never heard about him. But how in the world can you send love letters to a murder? Where is your dignity? I saw your pop up and at the same time Bailey sarian upload a clip. You two are the best at telling crime with respect and humor! Thank you Daniëlle for your story
The fact that so many people went to the police and they did NOTHING is crazy. Even worse is that this is a pretty recent case. Honestly insane how people can romanticise the actions of criminals yet alone murderers just because they are conventionally attractive. I feel sorry for everyone who was affected by his actions having to see this trend of support for him

Excellent for them nights that are full of insomnia and restlessness. Thankyou, Congratulations on over a million subs. You very much deserve success
It is so disgusting that if somebody is attractive, people act like they can't do anything wrong. Even when they commit the most horrible acts, people act like it's okay because they look good. But if an ugly person does something less, it's horrible
Hi and I love your channel. I just wanted to clarify a couple things. So, in the US, it's not the police who actually decide to do nothing after investigating a case. The case would be investigated by the police and then put in front of the DA or district attorney. Once the case is in front of the DA it is up to them if the case is moving forward. If the DA decides they do not have enough evidence to move forward with the charges the case is dropped what can be refilled in a certain amount of time. Coming from a family with some law enforcement in it, it's actually very demoralizing to investigate and then put the information in front of the DA to be told there is not enough evidence. You can imagine if you were the detective who actually did the leg work and got truly invested I'm getting Justice for these horrible crimes to then be told there's not enough evidence it is heartbreaking to them. Anyways I love your channel I hope you continue to grow and wish you the best of luck!
Whenever I see people wondering how anyone could fall for this type of person, I'm reminded of Jenny Trout's blog about 50 shades. At one point she used this analogy where she explained that you can have a chicken and explain in great detail how it is definitely a chicken and people will still insist it's a duck. People will see terrible and evil people and their actions and still insist they're good because they just don't want to believe that their perception is wrong.
OK so I watched your video on this before watching Baily just now, without knowing ANYTHING regarding this. After being a long time subscriber to her channel; (do love her) Had to write that your take on this was much more in depth, easy to follow and detailed. Fantastic. New Sub

Definitely help paint a clear picture of what happened. and explain why they did what they did. I’m so grateful that you’re touching the contest because I’ve seen this all over TikTok.
It's crazy that people have donated about $60,000 to his Fundme page for him to get new representation. Wade is definitely attractive, but that doesn't take away from the fact that he took 2 lives. I've heard the theory that's going around about the organisation he worked for framing him for the 2 murders, but I don't think he would have confessed to so many people, and gone into so much details about murders that he hadn't committed. What he's said about him being innocent makes absolutely no sense.
I'm literally a minute in and laughed... it was that damn tiktok of rapidly changing pictures of his smiling face. Like.. some lady took the time out of her day to make that. Hahaha what? I'm not laughing at what he did or anything, I'm laughing at how effing WEIRD that is of her. 😂😅
When will the police be held accountable for their dismissals? For their lack of investigation & lack of action? Their job is to serve & protect - now people are dead.
This is the male version of the Isabella Guzman case. A lot of netizens were saying that during her court trail, that she was trying to be cute and that she was too pretty to go to prison

I watched this yesterday when you posted it. I just watched it on another page and I had to come back here to say THANK YOU @Danielle Kirsty for how thorough all of your videos are and how much research you put in to them!
The authorities not making any action is at fault here. How could someone that had been convicted and went to jail, get a pass by saying it’s consensual when in fact he abused and r*ped his girl with FULL EVIDENCE?
no I will never understand those who think they'd ''fix'' him. No girlie, you wouldn't fix him, he would ab*se you the same way he did others, you mean nothing to him, you're not that special...
Just wanted to pop in the comments to say that I just today found your channel and I’m absolutely obsessed with your videos. Very rarely I can see true emotions and pity in the storytellers eyes and voice (not saying that they don’t pity the victims) and your way of telling the story makes it that you as a listener do understand the harsh reality of the case. Most Florida police officers have always been the same and friends of mine who have been SA’d have gotten the same treatment, some worse. It’s disgusting. 😢

Brought in at 24 looking youthful and mysterious with his orange dyed hair and it was "JaMeS iS a GoOd MaN!!!"
But when they saw him again at trial and he was now four very hard years older, about 20 pounds overweight from inactivity, and with only a very, very, very slightly receded hairline on his now normal colored hair, they were like "ew maybe he IS a bad man lol" and dropped him.
You can’t put the menendez brothers on the same list as Ted Bundy & the others.

It can work for & against depending on your personality. If you're more interested in developing your mind & rising up in your industry you got there by sleeping your way to the top when you can do that no matter what you look like. She's an absolutely gorgeous woman who is there before everyone & thereafter everyone, runs an entire department and even helped me out a lot in the finance department during our closed hours but the CEO & others still working.
I know fritzl but none of the others I don't think great suggestions
Knorr is so awful even by TC standards

27:10 a lot of abusers actually like to start problems while they are in the vehicle with their victim. I’ve been told it’s because they “know you aren’t going to go anywhere, what are you going to do jump?” Many times they will drive erratically to up the terror and control and lessen the chance of you actually jumping
That's what I was thinking too
This is exactly correct. My ex used to do this, and that was why... he knew the only way for me to escape would be to jump out of the car. And, he knew I'd never do that bc of childhood trauma of getting ran over from falling out of my mothers car(completely my fault). It was absolute torture. Thank God I don't ever have to see or talk to him again.
This is true. My ex hit me in the car on multiple occasions.

He’s stereotypically handsome underneath the bad face tattoos. He’s probably very charming to when he wants to be

That’s just stubborn delusion at that point. 😔
This is why Pres 45 supporters still support him even now that it's clear they were duped before. Too invested already. Too much pride to lose.
