      @@stevetrivago I agree! Some individuals try to use their past trauma to justify their horrible decisions. In reality there’s no justification for being evil, and ending someone’s life. If it’s self defense, or a motor vehicle accident etc… that’s understandable. Even with accidents, any sane person would empathize with the individual who they caused harm to. As well as feel remorse for their family members/friends. I don’t understand how someone can go through any form of abuse, and be okay with inflicting that same form of pain upon another human being. It’s mind blowing to think of the amount of people who truly feel that it’s okay to harm others, if they’ve previously dealt with trauma/abuse.

    99.9% of _actual_ serial killers look like "normal" every day people because their goal is to fit in so they won't be suspected. Yet when the odd murderer (usually no more than 1 victim) has a couple tattoos and likes "dark" things, the media points to that as "red flags." It's so obnoxious.

And then there’s ppl like u who want to ignore it all just for the sake of being woke and “loving & accepting” towards everyone 😏. And unfortunately for you, you guys are 20 times more likely to become one of their victims bc u tell yourself that idolizing serial killers, owning 100 weapons, and having a history of violence, etc is completely normal and “just their style”, Until they come after you next 🤷‍♀️

    • @HolldollMcG
      @HolldollMcG 7 месяцев назад +17

      Absolutely. Ted Bundy's parents were conservative Christians who looked like everyone else. He joined the Mormon Church at one point, and Mormons dress and act very conservative. Being clean-cut and conservative doesn't preclude someone from doing horrible things.

    • @HolldollMcG
      @HolldollMcG 7 месяцев назад +8

      I do agree, however, that the idolizing serial killers is a gigantic red flag. But let's not paint with too broad a brush here, a bigger red flag would be the trauma she faced in her childhood. The vast majority of violent criminals didn't have happy childhoods with healthy boundaries, good communication, love, and trust. Usually it's the opposite, full of uncertainty, abuse, perhaps poverty; or sometimes we see kids whose parents never tell them "no", never set boundaries or make them apologize for mistakes and wrongdoings. There is a balance to be struck between high standards and understand youthful ignorance when it comes to raising children, and more often than not the kids who grow up to be serial killers didn't have that balance in their home.

    41:47 "She describes him as a jealous, petulant child." If that isn't the pot calling the kettle a kettle, I don't know what is.

    What happened to her little girl? 😢Sounds like she must have gone through a lot. I hope she's with someone able to give her all the love & stability she needs. I dont doubt her mum loved her, but the poor girl must have been witness to some horrendous things!
