Always glad to see Stormcast on the table! Two quick notes, though. Lorai is a wizard but not a STORMCAST ETERNALS one, so she doesn't have access to the SCE spell lore and can't take Lightning Blast. And Annihilators have a built-in charge re-roll the turn they come down, so that one was a freebie!

Great report as always! Fellow Tzeentch player here, love seeing something else than guild of summoners as well.
Sadly being so defensive doesn't seem to work out well on many objective maps. Varanguard probably needed to play more offensively
I wonder if it wasn't possible to summon t2? With the magister so far forward, dropping screamers on the left side and going into the lone hero could have helped even the objective hold and put stormcast on the defensive. It's hard to see if there's enough space, however.
It’s was a massive stand off hahah. I wanted inside the tzeentchian goods but Archaons favored lieutenants were like “try it”.
I can feel the pain of those varanguard trapped inside the castle
Sometimes the horrors get in the way lolz. A tarpit so massive, that it pins both armies lol
Loved the game. Honestly my favorite battle report show cause you guys play some stuff but the armies you build are actually good. It feels competitive even though it’s fun!

great battle, really enjoyed watching it. Some pointers for tzeentch is when you have horrors with split and split again then they suffer some wounds, at the end if the turn they dont take a battleshock as they arent classed as slain until the brimstone. Also i noticed you used destiny dice to make the charge guarantied but before you use any destiny dice or anything that can affect a roll then just roll first then seen if destiny dice need to be used because if not its a potential waste.
another thing is use them destiny dice whenever you can as if you put the artifact The Eternal Shroud on then every time you use a d-dice then you can roll and on a 5+ you can roll again and add that dice to the d-dice, i think this is very powerful through my own experience but its not always needed.
These are great pointers! One day, Jeremy will play Tzeentch as effectively as David lol
I like the mix of narrative building, rules explaining, and close up shots of models.
One note because I am annoying: it's ogroid Thaumaturge, pronounced "THAW-mat-urge" from the english word thaumaturgy, meaning miracle-working
so its like a matt who has the urge to thaw! got it

Hahaha I know I’m such a dum sometimes. I believe I accidentally spent 1 more CP than I had so it equalled out looking up the rules on annihilators.☠️

I've really enjoyed the addition of the Rage Babies battle reports on this channel. You seem to build and play lists quite different from Michael and David aswell, it broadens the channel in a great way and brings more variety in armies etc. :)

Noticed that a destiny dice was used AFTER rolling a cast, is there an FAQ for this to be allowed I can't see?

Really fun battle rep, Im still enjoying the narrative setting. My main issue is you are making me want a Tzeentch army! Love how you painted your army and the magic based nature of them. Naeve and the Blacktalons seemed to do a lot of the heavy lifting in that game. What puts you off taking them competitively?
Some people are taking them competitively. Last weekend a friend was playing the super friends list. Ionus, Gotrek and the Black talons and he did great at the event.

Its called sandcast. Is basically based brown, and then dry brushed XV88, zandri dust, and wraith bone. the blue is teclis blue through an airbrush but you can get a similar effect with drybrushing.

Honestly. I dislike it too. Beasts had their place here in AOS but if they are being called home to the old world. There are definitely more models in the AOS line that will see this doom too.

@@jarodbrown4715 honestly dude it might be just me and for that i apologise, as for constructive criticism it feels like u guys are trying to emulate the usual content, potentially just being urselves more might help with it for me personally atleast, also u guys play more comp level so potentially some more tricky plays being set out or some tips and tricks for comp play might be good from these specials videos? for my end as a viewer i will do better to come across as less disgruntled in the future as it is not my intention to put down what is still very decent content

I also share the same feelings of “emulation”. My good friends Michael and David have built a magnificent brand here. Jeremy and I are trying our best not to deviate, as it currently stands: BattleShock studio has a step by step process that we must stick to with minimal deviations being acceptable for publication. This causes a sort of “copy cat” effect. As odd as it may look at times it 100% maintains the vision David and Michael have. We never know what’s in store for the future but at the moment we agreed it’s best to move as a cohesive unit. 😎
As far as additional tips and tricks, this is something Jeremy and I can easily slip into videos here and there. I will 100% look into this.
I truly am happy to hear your words and I couldn’t be more thankful that you’d be willing to open the door here to assist us in maybe becoming something you could come to enjoy with your feedback. 💙
@@jarodbrown4715 you have a wonderful energy and I think that there's a happy medium where you honor the guidelines of Michael and David while still putting your own personality and flair on top of that. It's a process and nothing like that happens overnight. I guess you could sit down and have a look at the various phases and think about how you personally would like to handle the transitions etc. (e.g. you might need to still summarize CPs, Primals etc. but the way you present it, roll it, etc. could be more personalized without hurting the "streamline" intention of the Battleshock brand). I have faith 🙂
