- Our adventure continues as we are on a search for Denver's best Mexican food. We head to Santiago's to try their breakfast burritos. WOW was it ever worth it! One of the better breakfast burritos either of us have had.
We are off to a good start with our choice for Mexican food here in Denver, but there will be a lot more in the future rate against Santiago's.

Santiago burritos are really good. Not true authentic Mexican food but they have an amazing selection of good breakfast burritos
The Mexican food in Colorado is so under rated. It's fantastic. The old school restaurants are a must. When I go home I gorge on Colorado Mexican. The green chili is mind blowing!

I wouldn't say its under rated. I saw a website for reasons to move to Colorado and #1 was the Mexican food. It is sooo good.

You should check out the good truck Tacomiendo in Thornton. Its on the corner of 116th n Colorado next the maverick and the church. El Mananero parks there mon-fri for the morning and dude, their gorditas…🤤
Santiago’s is good but it’s like the fast food/drive thru of Mexican restaurants.
You gotta check out Ed and Chatta’s El Toro in Commerce City. Best chicken tacos in the world and the Taco sauce is to die for.

The only thing I miss about Colorado after moving away is the Mexican food. Used to get Santiago's Breakfast Burrito on Friday at work. I can order 25 at a time and it took under a minute to fill the order. Best green chili on the planet.

I totally agree, Santiago's,Chubbys and Taco Bell are nothing but tex-mex food. Now if they want to try the real Mexican food best in Denver which it is the real Mexican food. They should of gone to Guadalajara Authentic Mexican Buffet in Colfax that's where the real Mexican food is, not tex-mex. I have been there alot and the real Mexican food are very good.

FYI us Mexicans don't consider Santiago's mexican food. You want a delicious Mexican burrito' check out Tamales By Sara in Commerce City. Their Chile Relleno burritos, are the best. They also make delicious barbacoa and asada burritos, ask then to add refried beans to those and I promise you will never go back to Santiago's. If you want something spicy try their Chicharron burrito, it will melt your tongue, but super delicious! They also make delicious menudo and tamales! You'll thank me later 😌

Santiagos went from very good to just ok, not as good as it was.
2 of these for 6 bucks...whips out a pencil burrito, shit it better be 6 bucks.. and thats pushing it

Santiagos is a denver staple for breakfast burritos but i camt stand them. Soupy gross garbage lol sorry denver. I will never understand the obsession with putting green chilli on everything

@@DJR5280 yes green chili is very tasty...but not on every damn food item. Coloradans feel the need to put it on everything from burritos to breakfast cereal lol its good but its not the only food out there. Ive lived here since 94' so its not like im some recent transplant either lol just take it down a notch, all im sayin.
Santiago's is just ok. Pretty blend to be honest. Americanized mexican food is not real Mexican food. Same goes for Chubby's, both are quick semi cheap food. But nothing to write home about.
