You know Allah, but you don't obey him.
You know the Prophet, but you don't follow his sunnah.
You know the Qur'an, but you don't act upon it.
You eat from the blessings of Allah, but you are not thankful for the blessings.
You know paradise, but you're not striving to get to it.
You know the fire of hell, but you're not running away from it.
You know Syaitan but you don't fight him.
You know death but you do not prepare for him.
    Left me in awe.

    To mrgulsaeed.
Your Problem in understanding boils down to the very understanding of qadr.
In Islam, we believe Allah has knowledge over every event to take place. Allah also has decreed everything to take place. However at the same time, We have a free will and will be judged according to our actions. Indeed, the concept of qadr is a pillar of our creed being one of the six articles of faith.

And some will die for Allah...it isn't up to us. True iman must acknowledge that it is insha'Allah. This is so very important. La ilaha ill Allah. Obedience is no guarantee that you will live a comfy life. Allah swt will decided and has the final decree in all things...all things. Alhamdulillah.

@Muslimah4ever97 Exactly. That guy's comment frustrated me so much, I was gonna send him a longgg reply. But there wouldn't be any point, right?
He says "Wahhabis" detest RasulAllah (s.a.w.), yet Shaykh Yasir started his speech by showing his respect and love for the RasulAllah (s.a.w.). Why would the Shaykh quote hadith, if he hated the Rasul (s.a.w.)? How dare they distort one of the 99 names of Allah...Al-Wahhab into an insult. Anyway, hope this comment finds you in high health and iman.

..we do not need to dig and dig to try to understand fully the intricacies of how Allah does this, because we accept we will never fully understand everthing about Allah. However, we acknowledge that Allah is the most just and we will be Judged with justice. Allah is the fairest and is fairer. We put our trust in Allah and we beseech him minimum 17 times a day to guide us to the straight path. At the same time we make the effort and "tie the rope of the camel", then leave the rest to Allah.

ramanbeedh - research the history of all the prophets and see how many suffered, muslims suffering so much is your perception , compare physical suffering (muslims) vs emotional psychological suffering which people in the west experience. A muslim suffering physically doesn't mean they are suffering spiritually or emotionally. You may percieve a poor person in musilim lands as suffering but he most likely more content in his heart more than you will ever be.

If even the Dua (prayer) of Satan was aswered, do you think God will reject yours? No, not at all.

I am confused. Is he suggesting that making dua is obligatory(fard)? Or is he suggesting the prayer to be a form dua/supplication? I have never heard the not making dua to be a sin.

@come2truth1 Its fantastic that Islam teaches tolerance for all mankind, as should all great religions, in my opinion.
However I am afriad the statement "Allah misguides them who choose to remain blind" can be interpreted in many different ways and some may lead to the wrong idea about Allah. To me, for instance, it gave me a sense of ill feeling since I cannot understand why God would purposely misguide somebody who is ignorant.
