This was amazing my God! Chris Potter has no idea how great he is, Gambit was my favorite X-Man and this script is one of my favorite episodes "X-Ternally Yours" my favorite line is when he said "I'm not assasin or thief, I'm an X-Men and I'm never coming back" while holding Rogue in his arms... I got so pumped listenig to them! I wish they make a special episode, this cast still has it! And the lady that made Bella Donna, cast her too for any other character, she did great too!

I recently got into the 1992 animated series (as well as Evolution and Wolverine and the X-Men) on Disney Plus and it’s incredible! I can’t wait for X-Men ‘97!

Thank you for sharing this. Watching it in 2024 and after meeting both Chris and Lenore at Megacon, it is simply amazing to be to watch them in action. Did anyone else feel sympathy when Chris cried out in pain? Need to watch the actual episode again.

Her Rogue voice still got me throwing rings at my screens... Holy crap! I mean, Hearing Wolv, Gambit and Rogue doing the voices live is already crazy to rap your head around, but they still sound amazing as their characters 25+ years later?!
A huge fan of Chris Potter from since my childhood. It all started with Kung Fu the Legend Continues... Wish I could meet him in person!

Astonishing that after 20 or so odd years, they still sound the same! And to think - we're gonna have all these voices back in the new series next year! Thank God for Kevin Feige and Disney+.

I really don't understand why the original voice actor of Gambit did not did not reply his role X-Men 97 I thought it was his age but he sounds the same ??? I know he voice Cable but not Gambit I just don't get it 😑
I didn't make the connection til my rewatch here that they did the Gambit New Orleans script because the convention was in New Orleans. I'm more inclined to believe that this reading could've been seen by Disney to prove it was worth it to bring back the original cast voices for the reboot!

Rogue's screams were always anemic. Good actress otherwise.
Man that Lenore Zann's the true golden voice of Rogue, it just isn't X-MEN without Rogue just like it isn't the Jacksons without Michael! I watch the X-MENcartoons and read the comics just to see my favorite mutant icon, just to hear Rogue's sweet sexy voice! If the X-MEN's fame could compare to the Jacksons, Rogue ironically is the female equivalent to Michael being she's the gloved one!
