In his prime right here for sure. Sure he’s had his rough performances but when you look ones like this one you are reminded that he had one of the most powerful rock voices at the time for sure.
Exactly my thoughts. His 09 comeback was so disappointing for a long time creed fan. I’ve been one since 97. His prime voice was extremely underrated as a rock vocalist. They always tried to compare him to vedder, while they simultaneously did this over the top stapp impresión and saying he sucks. It never made any sense.
Creed has become one of those bands that it's "cool" to hate for some reason while the people who supposedly hate them probably bump this song at max volume while driving to work in the morning.
"Yes, I'm the one who, the only one who would carry on this far." This part of the song helped me to bounce back a time of my life when I was through a lot of hardship. Thanks Scott.
They actually did an iHeart Stripped acoustic show which was incredible. But yeah. An MTV Unplugged or a VH1 Storytellers show would have been outstanding!
So sad that so many people were jealous of them and Scott took most of the blows, poor man. His voice alone is divine why do people have to mess that up.
Scott Stapp is literally one of if not the best vocalist live!!! Back in the day everything he sang was amazing. He sounds better live than the actual album
Singing every single day.. every day on tour. Loss of sleep, battling personal mental wars and struggles but still found it necessary to sound as good as this at any given time… this dude actually loved music
I laughed through this whole thing because of how great it is. Thank God for creed and I can’t wait for the tour stop in Birmingham Alabama so we can get back to good. Also, Roll Damn Tide
When I hear this song I go to a place I cant describe its incredible still to this day I draws me in and off I go ... deep personal memories some good mostly bad remembering always
That entire album jammed. So much nostalgia. I remember my older brothers buying this and a Linkin Park album and bringing it home. I distinctly remember Torn, Pity for a Dime, and the entire first Linkin Park album blasting through the halls
saw him with my wife in may at a theatre in buffalo ny. Dude sounded just like the cd. unreal. I was trying to find something wrong and could not!!!! outstanding so glad we saw him.
Human clay was a pretty badass album. My favorites were Inside Us All and Wash Away Those Years, and Beautiful but I can literally listen to the whole album without skipping any songs just like their first album
When you hear it acoustic, I always wonder how the band would have faired if they had ONLY released their music acoustic. More popular? I would think so...
IT COULD BE MIND CONTROL ATTACKS, THIS HAPPENS TO THEM WHEN THEY TRY TO BREAK AWAY. PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM, HE IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF PRAYER. ONLY OUR LORD CAN HELP HIM. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS =}
Not sure why creed doesn't get any radio play here in Houston TX. They play a lot of 90s and early 2000s rock alternative music on the rock station here but never creed
yep both creed and alter bridge are both together creed was set to have an album released but they put that on hold because alter bridge is working on a new project
Ive been skipping a lot of creed videos due to not wanting to put up with them... I think i only said once "go for it, attempt to treat old guy alien like a god since he tricked a lot anyways" i just cant handle you right now
So, Alter Bridge broke up when Miles Kennedy went to collab with Slash and now Creed is a band again? Or are they both still together? I'm confused! Cause I like both Alter Bridge and Creed!
@Whosur Caddy agreed, they are mesmerized - little did they know they were witnessing one of the best performances of a heavy metal song, acousticized by a band that helped define heavy -

He's never had a rough performance in his prime
Not ashamed to say that I'm still a Creed fan in 2022.
Me too brotha 🤟👊👊😎
Yes were the ones who, the only ones who would carry on this far. 💪🏻
Same in 2024 !
I am too
2024 here!
Man this song is absolutely fantastic. When people talk poorly about creed I show them this.
Creed has become one of those bands that it's "cool" to hate for some reason while the people who supposedly hate them probably bump this song at max volume while driving to work in the morning.

Imagine if they had done an entire Unplugged album like this while Stapp was in his prime.
I’ve always said it would be up there with Nirvana, AIC and pearl jams for sure. Creed have some really good acoustic material
I used to have torrents or some sort of downloaded acoustic songs from them.
They actually did an iHeart Stripped acoustic show which was incredible. But yeah. An MTV Unplugged or a VH1 Storytellers show would have been outstanding!
@@river2352or days of the new

Quintessential 90's rock vocals! Everything about this is great.
So sad that so many people were jealous of them and Scott took most of the blows, poor man. His voice alone is divine why do people have to mess that up.

Wow very powerful voice wicked acoustic version everyone one of my favorites
tremonti is a genius. creed was always so sophisticated and complex when it comes to guitar work behind it.
Scott Stapp in his prime was a beast. This is fantastic.
When I hear this song I go to a place I cant describe its incredible still to this day I draws me in and off I go ... deep personal memories some good mostly bad remembering always
Great performance by Scott there, and his voice now is almost like this :)
Still is really good
Love Scott’s voice, so powerful!!
admit it, that album had some good jams.
matt clark my own prison was fucking awesome.
The only one honestly
That entire album jammed. So much nostalgia.

No matter what he is GOOD .
Someone like myself that can’t sing just appreciates a good song. I don’t follow slanderous comments.
I have nothing better to say than what has been said already. Creed was the best!!!
Gotta love this sound - - - - - -
Savage !!!! Absolutely love this version !!!!!
I’m hearing a reunion tour may be coming 🤘🏼! Tremonti said he already had a complete album of Creed material written.

Listen to Scott Stapp in 2022. Still sounds really good
powerful ! In all honesty, every song on this album was badass. Can't say that for the following one.
Human clay was a pretty badass album. My favorites were Inside Us All and Wash Away Those Years, and Beautiful but I can literally listen to the whole album without skipping any songs just like their first album
i remember watching this on much music the day the day it came out
Brilliant
Brian was so young then. In school to be an Architect...
When you hear it acoustic, I always wonder how the band would have faired if they had ONLY released their music acoustic. More popular? I would think so...
Essa é a minha música preferida do Creed.
IT COULD BE MIND CONTROL ATTACKS, THIS HAPPENS TO THEM WHEN THEY TRY TO BREAK AWAY. PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM, HE IS IN DESPERATE NEED OF PRAYER. ONLY OUR LORD CAN HELP HIM. GOD BLESS YOU GUYS =}
Yeah...there is always more going on than meets the eye. Prayers for him.
scott is fine now godbless check out his new band art of anarchy.
I've always loved the song as is, but this version is kick ass.
I’m still trying to find out when this was broadcasted
Not sure why creed doesn't get any radio play here in Houston TX. They play a lot of 90s and early 2000s rock alternative music on the rock station here but never creed
It's as if there's someone behind the camera telling the audience not to move, smile, or even acknowledge the awesomeness they are witnessing...

Toni Newton it’s an acoustic set. More toned down.
