I wish you'd added the Federico to the comparison (you showed it for 1 second near the end): it's not easy to choose between it and the Harry. Also: I believe the Federico, in 2-3 of its 4 colourways (all but the green), can also make for a great-looking pair of sunglasses.
Great video! Will look into Robert La Roche as my next pair On an unrelated note: -I can’t seem to find Gast on your website anymore? -between the Daim/ Not Common / Kawai, which is the most suitable for a small/low bridge nose? -what style in general should someone with a low nose bridge look for when it comes to acetate frames? Thank you for making these educational videos on high quality eyewear!
I own several pairs of Jacques Marie Mage and these definitely are catching my attention! Have you had the chance to handle HUG eyewear spectacles? I recently did and was very impressed by the build quality. Hand made in Germany and felt as sturdy as any top tier frame.
I love thick acetate frames and although I own Black Eyewear and now Barton Perreira, (thank you). There is something about Robert La Roche eyewear that once you see them in the flesh… Your completely arrested. Unusual, classic and beautiful all at the same time.
I have just purchased a pair of Robert La Roche ''Harry'' after both seeing Robert from The Spectacle Factory actually wearing them in this video and how you described the brand as ''Unusual, classic and beautiful all at the same time''
After months and months, I am still waiting for Barton Perreira Domino 55 in midnight blue. Do you know whether they will start producing them again anytime soon or should I go for Harry? Is Harry actually smaller than Domino 55? (BTW: the Ahlem on you does not really do it for me, sorry... You look SO much better with Harry on!)
Hey Robert, it's me again. So, i know i've been a pain in the neck to you lately with my vacillating nature - somehow i can never seem to make up my mind - however now that summer's over i've finally realised that what i need is a pair of rimless wraparound sunglasses. Here are my requirements: must be feather-light, titanium frame, rimless style, large wraparound lenses (either base 8 or 9 even) either rectangular or more rounded, and with top-notch polarised lenses in grey-green colour (with either a flash or full mirror coating as well as a proper backside AR coating) - i am thinking Zeiss Pioneer polarised with Dura Vision here... Though i am after a premium product, let's just rule out the likes of Cartier from the get-go, shall we? Think Silhouette here, even though i know you're not a fan of the brand - and again, doesn't need to be Silhouette, which might come across as too "mundane" - are there any other premium makers who specialise in rimless frames? Let me know at your earliest. You may even reach me directly at gialasca at libero dot it Thanks!

Robert I love you and your amazing video, you were and are a very useful resource, but you really need some work on the audio setup. The unbalance between left and right channels do not do justice to the quality of the content, and make it less enjoyable.
Robert, I love the one you wearing, love the tint too
Right side only audio again. just set your audio to mono before exporting your project.
Love these !
What are your thoughts on matsuda glasses?
I love these reviews and it would be nice to see a Jacques Marie Mage review
because they don't carry it
Awesome video as always! Could you please share the name of the last model you're wearing with the orange tint?

Totally agree! I did feature the Federico in this video: ruclips.net/video/oS7GHLwiQyY/видео.htmlsi=MDu2QfDmeqbmQ3XR

Yes! 😁
Hi Robert. I’m noticed you wear golden glasses and a silver watch. I’m always against mixing metals. But it would be a good topic for a future video?
Good idea
I really wish you would give the price of the frames that you review.

Perfectly put.

Should I buy Hamamoto?
Hamamoto, Japan quality is superb. Very durable, and I've used one for years...

Working on it! Got a new mic and had some teething problems
Do you like the Matsuda Glasses? Japanese hand made glasses seems like something you would like.
BOLD !
*(not the well known washing powder brand)
Bold is the new Thin.
Acetate not made in Japan - I am out. Note, some Gucci are made in Japan. :)
