Hey shaun! I finally got my HS/BS 3's down last summer but i'm really wanting to learn HS/FS 3's and possibly 5's this year, would you mind doing a How To Tutorial? Love your videos by the way!
You are still going in the direction of the wake and it carries you into the air. Your board gets pushed up which goes through your body as long as you're not flipping too soon, which I see people do. If you flip too soon, your body isn't on top of the board while it's going up. This just knocks your feet out from under you and doesn't give you any height. It helps to start wide from the wake so you can get a decent amount of cut going before you get to the wake, where you will square up to the wake. So don't start too close to the wake, which I also see happen a lot.
Adam Bishop we’ve taken the app down bc after paying 2 different companies to build the app it kept quiting on people. So I’ve been uploading it to my channel. If that’s the app you’re talking about.
I met you a couple of weeks ago at OWC, great pleasure man! Solid video, Shaun. Progressing to the 360, do you recommend working on FS and BS 180s? Also, a preference on tantrum or backroll as the first invert?
Josh, FrontSide 180's are a good idea before going for a full 360. BackSide 180 really depends on the rider and the techniques they use to learn them. I go over those techniques in my instructional app wake md but would like to have this info on a video featured here on my RUclips page. Hopefully soon
I kinda wanna thumbs down because I can sense your defeat. How do you fall when you try them? On your back, on your face, rotate a spin some while flipping?
Loving these videos Shaun! Your tips are really giving my mates and I something to work off, thanks!
Thanks Shaun I love the tips and tricks from you you are awesome keep it up and I wanna be just like you some day
Hey Shaun, i recently got the HS backroll down pretty good, would you recommend trying a TS backroll next or something else? Great videos by the way!
Congrats on that! TS backroll or Tantrum are usually the next ones to check off for most people.

Sorry for the late response. I'm slowly uploading Detention on my channel so stay tuned
Best video ever !!
Thanks Steve!
Hey Shaun, what happened to “crank a turn, flatten off and launch!” 😂. I still quote that line from Detention.
Yes! Wally!
Solid video man..
Thanks Z 👊🏼
Is wakeMD still available?
Nope. Crashed so many times that we paid a second company to develop it and it kept crashing. Too much content I guess. I put most of it on RUclips
Like the moves that look very natural ...how fast is the boat underway to have enough pop?
At least 18mph to start one wake attempts
I’m curious on how you get so much pop when doing a tantrum as you even our your edge before hitting the wake?

Shaun Murray thanks!! Love all your vids. Keep it up!
Is a toe side or heel side easier
Depends on the rider but usually heelside for most
On 360s my snowboard instincts always kick in and I jump then rotate my torso first then whip my legs around and always screws me over
For sure a common mistake. That's why I take people through surface spins at 13 mph even when they say that they've done tons of surface 3's.
Shaun Murray thanks I will try that out
I can't find the App on the Appstore. Also what is the best rope length and towing speed?

Interesting, I didn't quite know that standard progression is FS 180, FS 360, then BS 180. Thanks!
Sorry late reply. Depends on the rider but I've found a 1 wake toe side backroll, 18-19mph, is a good place to start
Nice
Which one is best to start with?
Depends on the person. Really need to go w what the rider feels they have an understanding of what makes the most sense to them.
@@Shaun.Murray oky thanks gonna try this weekend😂😂👊
Been trying tantrums over a decade. Still no success. At 37 I think I give up lol
