No post presence, no point guard, no coach, and Beal was a horrific trade when you could've signed numerous players who'd actually contribute.

Devin Booker has the highest trade value on the team and since no one is taking Beal off their hands Booker is the obvious piece that needs to be moved.
Why Wilbon didn't give the Suns the same energy he had about the Lakers with the Suns no accountability there I see.

Doesnt sound crazy to me, I loved the team before with Mikal Bridges, Cameron Payne, Cam Johnson, solid squad etc. this super team nonsense aint it.

A big 3 can work if one is a leader, and one of them has to run the offense, someone to score, someone to defend, or at least score differently then the other scorer. Suns got 3 of the same players with no floor general and no leader and no defensive presence.
Pretty much this is an ownership issue you can't just pluck max contract guys and say 'go win me something'
Someone also has to be able to downplay their role and still be effective. It cant be 3 guys all trying to go out and lead the team in scoring every game. Getting 3 isolation scorers who are most effective when theyre the centerpiece of the offense was moronic.
Phoenix traded away so many assets, they don't have much to work with. This wasn't the coach's fault, this is strictly on the owner. I would not take that job, you'll be set up for failure.

Bucks are dealing with the same issue in the East. Their assets are completely gone, and the roster is aging. Fortunately, they got a title in 21 but yeah I’ve noticed the parallels with the Suns and Bucks.

Player payroll and staff payroll are too different things.
If I’m Budenholzer I’m staying far away from this job. It’s a setup and if he doesn’t get to a Western conference finals at the minimum he’ll be gone just like Monty Williams and Vogel. If I’m Budenholzer I’ll try and wait for the Celtics job. If Mazzulla doesn’t win it all with this team he could be gone as well.

I honestly don't understand why they had to blow up the Suns team after they got beaten by the Mavs two years ago. They were the number 1 team in the Western Conference, had a ton of depth, and more options for the future. Now they have two aging stars, no draft picks, and no depth.

Coach Bud and Vogel have similar résumé, both have 1 ring, coach of the year with Bucks and Pacers respectively. So what can Bud do with the Suns, my guess is Suns will fail next season as well.

The suns need to trade nurkic and get great role players. They should also trade Beal to get ethier a different 3rd star or great role players to build a better team around booker and KD. Get them an actual point guard to lead and facilitate. They should also start Bol Bol at the power forward or center.

They are both crap, and it is the fault of their two biggest stars. The Lakers roster is as it is because they went and got rid of guys LeBron didn't like and brough in guys he wanted. The Suns got rid of some players KD did not want to play with and brought in Beal because he wanted to play with him. That left both teams with very little help in the supporting cast. That is on the two stars and the GMs who bent over backwards for them ... not the coaches (though I really don't think Ham waould have been much better with a better roster).
The worst trade the sun's made was getting Beal and the massive trade they made for KD, they haven't yet recovered and this looks like it can be a very long rebuild in Phoenix, KD production isn't what it use to be and Booker production was slacking and factor in Beal stayed injured. The GM gotta figure out this roster fast and quick

The coach matters but this isnt the issue. There's no player who is the look-to leader when it matters. Book, KD and Beal all are deferential in that way. Great ballers but no leadership.
They need to trade Beal ASAP.

The issue with Mike Budenholzer its his lack of adjustments in the playoffs he did not made any against Jimmy Butler and the Heat he was outcoached by Spoelstra.
We're in the second round of the playoffs. Wolves cooking the the Nuggets, Knicks cheating, Dallas-OKC, Cleveland-Boston are 1-1, and they're talking about the bummy Suns and Lakers still.

Lakers should recruit Chris Quinn. 10 plus yrs under Spoelstra and Riley. Excellent at players development . Maybe more ideal for a rebuild but he's got alot of battle experience in deep playoff runs last 10yrs.

In the most organic way all teams are being forced to develop from the inside out. No more bought and paid for championships because the bag's been compromised which creates a lane for potentially new dynasties we never would've expected. The order of the day for franchises will likely be hiring superior player development and conditioning personnel, etc. "You gotta love the players your with... love the players your with!" 😅

no one will take bradley beal 2 years toxic contract. he may opt in in the last year making it literally 3 years. the suns is doomed. the best thing they can do is ride this season out, kd will be a free agent, let him go for nothing or maybe sign and trade option. booker will eventually ask for a trade and they will go full rebuild.
