What's tripping me out about every social media post on this subject that no one's talking about is the referees. All you have to do is call a freaking foul.

Yeah its embarrassing that this was not upgraded to Flagrant after review on the floor and that Carter wasn't ejected immediately.

Definitely. These rough plays and stupid flagrants are going to happen, and CC knows that and can take it, but man...you gotta call the fouls right. You gotta give her back what she's owed by taking it.

I want to know what it is the true role of the referees in every sport and why you can't say anything about them or you get fines? Im talking about the tv analysts, coaches, and of course the players. All I can think of is it has to do something with legal gambling. Why are they treated like gods in every sport?

Chennedy Carter does have a history of violence and retribution. She needs psychological and anger management help. Playing hard is the nature of the game. Great. But slamming someone in the back with a cheap shot is cowardly and unacceptable. Steph Curry went through the hard play cycle. They tried to bully and intimidate him. He got stronger. 1. I'm cool with physical play, but it's got to be smart. This wasn't. Clear as a bell in front of the refs, unnecessary, she was unscathed, her answer in the post-game scrum was ambiguous (either you brag and own it or be playfully coy).
    2. If it's okay to flatten Caitlin because "she'll be alright", then it's okay for Caitlin to say whatever it is she said to set Chennedy off.
    3. I want to like Angel, but she keeps disappointing: she's cheering like no one wants to do the same to her. All rookies get put through the ringer by a hardnosed vet - what makes her think she'd be immune to that kind of treatment? But keep cheering it on like a fool.
    4. That was a one point loss, so the big picture shows that she basically threw away a win. In a time where gambling is legal, throwing away a win is a big deal. On purpose or not, keep this up, and the Feds will come snooping around.

Angel Reese literally stood up and cheered for a flagrant foul on Caitlin Clark when she didn't even have the ball... it's not beef or shared bad blood, it's the epitome of hating on someone in basketball form. A Chennedy Carter "Beef" with Caitlin Clark, is planets away from even the pathetic "Beef" like Lebron James and Dillion Brooks.

Drafted to a horrible team, none of her teammates support her and a head coach is weak AF! STAY STRONG CC. Beef is fine but there are definite underlying issues at play here. 22 If this happened in the NBA, benches would have been cleared, and multiple ejections and suspensions All I know is she needs a Draymond on The Fever. That woman will be the 2nd highest-paid woman on that team. Jealousy and resentment mask themselves in hate. She’s the reason more casual fans are watching, especially her games. She’s not except from physical play, but don’t cheap-shot her. Angel Reece's cheering is diabolical, miss you almost got your head taken off. The Chicago Sky need not fines but to go back on Spirit for travel. WNBA where's the suspension ??? You owe it to your sponsors & supporters to protect your product. Weak sauce. Of course not, and I will like coach Weatherspoon, take my daughter aside, and let's not do this." In this statement he is saying, he disapproves of the action and it is beneath what he considers acceptable behavior from his family, but it is acceptable for someone who functions as his entertainment to do it.
