  • Ingredients:
    *2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (or other oil)
    *1 red onion (chopped)
    *1 big minced garlic
    *1 big carot (grated)
    *2 sticks of celery (chopped)
    *1 red paprika (chopped)
    *1 broccoli (chopped)
    *1/2 cup water
    *1 tomato (chopped)
    *1 tablespoon dried dill
    *1/2 tablespoon salt
    *a pinch of black pepper
    *1 tablespoon turmeric powder
    *4 Bay leaves
    *2 cups mung beans (cooked)
    *******************
    First! Soak mung beans overnight or for 8-12 hours if you want to cook faster.
    Bring to a boil and reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until tender.
    While the mung beans are cooling, cut and cook the vegetables over medium heat. Then add beans and spices.
