This is the world premiere performance, performed by Ivan Trevino and the UT Austin Percussion Ensemble:
Marimbas: Sam Wheeler, Luciano Medina, Reese Maultsby, and Francis Favis
Vibraphone: Caroline Richards
Congas: Dan Hartung
Shaker: VIctoria Mogollon
Cajon: Ivan Trevino
Pajarito was written to make people dance, sing, and to connect with the sounds of my roots.
One of my favorite artists is Natalia Lafourcade. From Vera Cruz, Mexico, her career started off in the indie rock / pop world, and has recently expanded to include folkloric music from her home country. I’ve experienced a similar journey in my own writing throughout the years, expanding my own sound world to include these elements. But I’ve never quite embraced it fully until "Pajarito". I'm proud of this one and hope it connects with you. - Видеоклипы
This is really fun! I love it
Nice piece.
I'm performing this piece for the first time in 2 days, I have the marimba 2 part, really fun stuff!
Awesome!
Wonderful stuff, I love it!

You gotta quit it with the singing in percussion pieces lmao, some of the most talented percussionists are still not great singers lol (it wasn’t actually that bad, but point still stands). The rest is sooo cool though I love it!
Find another Latin style percussion piece then, I think its cool and gives a feeling that branches it off into a subsection of other Latin pieces.
@@Ayayayyayayay yknow re-reading my comment it seems pretty damn rude lol I didn’t mean it very seriously
