I work in India, and went for business trip to USA for a month. Im telling you guys, India is far better than America, in terms of living with ease, crimes, cost of living, opportunities, public health system, public transport system, tourist destination, heritage, culture and many more. I'll never want to settle in USA, after looking at these differences. Life Safety is a big challenge in US especially for migrants.

@@gyadre yes, it's ironic and true. Without insurance, you can't afford treatment in US.. just cross check. While in India, public health system is very cheap, while the private hospitals are still very affordable. For an instance, A 40000Rs surgery in India will cost you 10lac+ Rs. Several instances can be seen in reports etc.
It's just that they have less population, so there, it's less crowded for availing these services

Someone who has been living outside India for decades and visit India every year,I can say that if you are a youngster and want to move to Canada or other countries,it is a mistake.India is growing so fast that if you do any small business or job in India it feels like you will be successful.When I moved out it wasn't the case,it was depressing.
We move out of india just because of unemployment rise in India or increasing no jobs opportunity or cases or suit filed against govt exams or pay parity as Phd. teachers are not getting jobs and list goes on! We want to have some standard of living thats why we move out!

Canada has 20 lakh temporary residents and it is planning to give permanent residency to only 4 lakh, which is really worrisome for students and temporary workers in Canada

The debate is very simple here. India is a growing country with relatively faster growth rate than those in the west. If they want to ensure lavish lifestyle at the expense of more opportunity, more growth, more money, it's their choice. We are going to develop further and further. We cannot force them to be back to India.

Agree India is not like 1947 but still there is unemployment. In India, interest rate is more because inflation is more. India is 5th largest economy but average salary per person is lowest compared to countries in top 10 GDP list. Moreover the top 10% rich hold approx 80% of the wealth.

Infrastructure of Town planning is very poor & Town plans are not implemented. Illegal / unauthorized construction.
In Delhi for any authorised construction you have to pay to civic agencies bribe per linter,
Eg 2-4 lakh per floor or per linter, even if you are making a 100% map compliant house.
And when a person pays this hefty amount he does some unauthorised construction to WASOOL the amount paid 😅
It is all about choices and ability to take decisions. This may be social and economic. Those who have worked hard in the West can certainly do well to retire in india with its hugely improved civil and economic infrastructure.
One of my college mates has moved to Canada with his family , recently married ( outside gurudwara bcz of Khali sthaanis ) .
But still thinks that he achieved a lot moving out of India .

Students coming to study in Canada maybe one aspect of the reverse trend, but it may not hold true for the people who have migrated to Canada and spent their time assimilating, settling in Canada. It’s practically not possible and real to extrapolate the students example onto others who have migrated and spent time settling down here.
Canada will remain as a destination country to settle as an immigrant even for any eastern population. It will not change. Migration is still on the horizon for country like Canada. It’s a fact, and it may not stop or reverse for long time from now.
Time investment done by anyone in a foreign country is of importance and of value for anyone who has done it. It can’t be denied. So for the reverse trends part, it would still be a mixed bag. Meaning, the reverse trend may not hold true for entire immigrated populations. It may be a matter of some percentage only.

East Asian countries like - China, Japan , South Korea ,Taiwan ,Hong Kong , Singapore etc are also densely populated . You can find crowded metro in Japan also . We need to start constructing high rise apartments like them and shift our people there .

I am seventy year plus who has become permanent resident of Canada curtsy my children settled their. I have never worked in Canada nor am working today. Still canada gives me and my wife a pension of Rs 2.5 lakhs per month. All we are required to do is stay 6 months per year in Canada

Inspite of all the complaints and comments about USA and Canada people from India are going to these countries by planeloads legally or illegally, recently plane full with 300 gujratis were trying to enter US by paying 60 to 80 lakhs
Indians may be leaving Canada but much more Indians are illegally leaving India due to present government. Shamelessly you do not talk about it.
Indian govt should also give directions to the banks to give loan for online degrees. I got admission in University of London, german universities and European University all were online but i didn't get a loan i had gone to 11 banks. I wrote a letter to the PM office but nothing happened. This is not a way to push digital India. If the Govt starts giving loans for online degrees for foreign universities a crore of rupees will be saved.
In one case, ek person ke haath m keel (nail) ghus gyi thi - as this is not considered life-threatening, this case was put on hold. So, their free healthcare is not that efficient . That person must be in so much pain.
In another case, indian students paying three times the fees actually helps them to subsidize fees for canadians there. We are actually at loss.
