These should not be mined. Mining these nodules will disturb the ecosystem of the sea. These nodules are the source of oxygen in deep sea. I think it should be studied more and not touched for commercial mining.

Ye nodules pehli baat to poore world ke ocean floor pe faile hue hai. Upar se scientist ne ye paaya ki ye nodules parallel circuits bana kar oxygen produce karte hai aur shayad yahi ocean ke oxygen ka mukhya source hai. To agar hume Indian Ocean ke ecosystem ko barbaad karna hai to hum ye mining kar sakte hai.

i think you forgot the part that there exist an organization which manages this kind excavation. also like you said that these nodules are all over the deep sea ocean bed but our nation only received permission to excavate them in central indian ocean.

But I implore you to research 'Dark Oxygen'.And scientist are even hinting on the fact that they might be the bedrock of ocean ecosystem and their removal may collapse the local ecosystem. Though humankind has never cared before for the ecosystem while extracting resources, we must carefully do so in future.
