Hello Mr X. What you clean the sprayer with will be determined by what you were spraying. Please follow the guidance for your material - whatever they suggest to dilute the material with is the same as you will use to clean the sprayer with. For example, water based products will only need to be cleaned out with water. Solvent based products will need to be cleaned with solvent cleaners. Thanks - The Wagner Professionals.
Hello If you are using water based exterior wood and metal paints this machine is suitable. You can also use Masonry paint but only use the smooth version not the textured type. Masonry paint is usually water based which make the paint easier to dilute and also easier to clean the machine afterwards. With Masonry paint we would recommend a 519 or a 619 tip. Why is this sprayer recommended for interior jobs? I was planning to use it outside, mainly for water based exterior paints.
