Singaporean player here. I wish Asian-English caught on. We play using the OCG Japanese cards now and it's a pain to need to use translator apps alongside to play. You get used to commonly played cards but when a new set drops, oh boy....
Maybe you guys could force their hands? I don't think Konami will start printing AE cards en masse again when the demand is so low as you guys, alongside the Malaysians, the Philippines, the Vietnamese and the Thai, are content with importing and reading Japanese cards.
I live in Indonesia. We officially are included in OCG format (even we never make any official championship). So we need Asian English to play yugioh with OCG format. But shame no Asian English release anymore, so we play TCG cards
Asian English FTW. I collected some of Asian English IOC cards. IMO, Indonesia should play and included in OCG, along with another SEA countries. This is why Asian English are important
My man you just made me finally realize why my two pronged attack had the symbol on the back. Have had this card for 16 years and I had no clue why it had that on the back but still looked real
Recently, they're bringing back Asian English sets starting with Duelist Nexus as well as releasing two new structure decks for those territories based on Blue-Eyes and Dark Magician.
Asian English is back. The new cards now just use the ocg card back instead of having a unique one like before. I think that's pretty interesting. It makes sense, though, because they have had to use the ocg cards for a long time now. In my opinion, AE cards are worth collecting just for the fact that they aren't censored anymore like the EN cards are. Sure, you can't play them here in the US, but having English cards with original Japanese art seems worth it to me.
This is the first time I've seen someone talk about Asian-English. I wonder if anyone will talk about Portuguese next, Portuguese cards seem to have been canceled printing at one point? And now they're really hard to find online.
@@JanjoZone I missed out of a heavy foil shift ultimate rare shining Phoenix enforcer for $1k last year. With hindsight, could easily be an $8-$10k card :/
That's the content we are here for. Not sure but aren't there cards prints for Australian/oceanic region too? Might be interesting for another video. :P Also, I own a 1st edition Asian English PSV Jinzo and Nobleman of Crossout.
Here for the History series or for the niche topic? Out of curiosity. Yes! That is another region I may cover one day! Each of these region videos get tougher and tougher to research!
