Yes! One of the Mini Cooper videos I've resonated with most over the years! I have a 2009 R56 JCW as well. I wish I bought it before starting a family, as I would have built it to the 9s ages ago 😭 having a family is great of course, but my timing in falling in love with minis was nevertheless a little off...
I just wish that I could afford performance parts more often. I'm always stuck just trying to keep up with what's breaking down 😅 I'm actually halfway through completely redoing the coolant system as I write this; started earlier this afternoon, and hoping to finish tomorrow. Wish me luck! Cheers!
best of luck homie, i understand the maintenance struggle as a college student. currently need new VCG, axles, 2 tires, trans fluid change, oil change, coolant change, and some other small stuff before GAT (1 month out).
