Indeed it is...I just felt the high tom was a bit loud when he played on the head. But I guess it's just because he plays the rim so much and it's an essential part of the track. But it's an amazing song anyway, this guy's playing is so on point!
For those of you who wants to practice this awesome groove this is the sticking - 175BPM - 6+6+6+6+8 = 32 notes R - Hihat L - Snare R L R R L L (Kick on the first note) R R L R L L (Kick on the first note Snare backbeat on the Third) R L R R L L (kick on the first note) R L R L R R (kick on the first and third note) L R L L R R L L (Snare backbeat on the first note) Enjoy.
Probably the best demo out of this series of videos. I mean, amazing playing aside, he's playing along to actual music, not that cheesy synth stuff drummers usually play to.
The textures in this are just beautiful. Every hit accenting the grooves. He's making sounds you'd normally only here in digital drum samples from hip hop tracks. Hat off to you sir
i keep coming back to this vid. such a great performance and tasteful playing. the amount of different tones bresler gets out of his set amazes me. a true master at his craft!
Beautiful production, and an ethereal drummer. So much touch and gorgeous dynamics coupled with a ever so slight sense of urgency. To echo another commentator, that is one of the most beautiful cymbal combinations I have heard. I am now extremely likely to begin buying a few of these cymbals. Fantastic performance. Understated and yet bold. Loved it.
amazing! very very cool, love the part around 3.30. he's swinging it as much as possible without over doing it, soooo cool, that was done really nicely!!!
I can't believe 7 years have gone by since this was released, and my subsequent first listen, and im just now giving it a "like." Sorry Amir and Meinl!!
As far as i figured out, what he starts to play at 1.38 is: Rlrr llRr Lrll Rlrr llRl Rlrr Lrll rrll Capital R's are with kick. Capital L's are accented snares. I hope that's correct :)
I think people underestimate how difficult it is to maintain that control, consistency and focus for that long.
Incredible performance!
Maybe people but drummers don't underestimate !
I can sense the amount of hard work behind his stick control.
DAYUM.
The mix is SO nice... Credit to the sound guy
kwinkzpower yeah so nice 👌
Agreed.

Clearly mixed by an actual wizard.
Thanks man
For those of you who wants to practice this awesome groove this is the sticking -
175BPM - 6+6+6+6+8 = 32 notes
R - Hihat
L - Snare
R L R R L L (Kick on the first note)
R R L R L L (Kick on the first note Snare backbeat on the Third)
R L R R L L (kick on the first note)
R L R L R R (kick on the first and third note)
L R L L R R L L (Snare backbeat on the first note)
Enjoy.
just spent 15 minutes to transcribe the beat, then found your comment...at least i can confirm now: you got it right ;)
can you explain plz, dying to practice this but don't have the knowledge to understand what you mean
nice
What's the time stamp you're referring to?
@Zuaoum Schabeiro Lol. I guess I didn't see that on the transcription. He does move it around the kit.
So nice to hear a phenomenal drummer play to a quality track. This slaps
This is beautiful...
please make a groove transcription of this 😍😍😍
I 2nd that. That sticking pattern starting about 1:38
Probably the best demo out of this series of videos. I mean, amazing playing aside, he's playing along to actual music, not that cheesy synth stuff drummers usually play to.
Yo, so many notes and they all grooved so hard. And the touch? Clean. Brilliant.
That's the nicest sounding cymbal combination i've heard in a long while.

I've been having good days to this track for 7 years. We're blessed to have this masterpiece.
The textures in this are just beautiful. Every hit accenting the grooves. He's making sounds you'd normally only here in digital drum samples from hip hop tracks. Hat off to you sir
