Evermorrow is a story that takes place in a world where Beacon didn't fall (among other changes), so Team RWBY & Friends are free to continue their education at Beacon - though it'll still be challenging!

I like how you gave Cardin teammates actual personalities and semblances to distinguish them and not have them be bland and forgettable like they are in the show

But yeah, I will agree with you. Plus, not all three of them necessarily have to be bullies like Cardin. At least one or two of them can be legit. I would love to see them argue with Cardin about his leadership skills.
Sky's ability is equal parts hilarious and unsettling... I'm glad he's on the good guys' side.
It really is when you think about it. Imagine the possibilities that one can do with an ability like that!

I'm gonna be honest, my idea for Sky's semblance was to allow him to create foggy clouds. So his enemies don't see him coming for the attack
Also the fact his last name is Lark, larks are know for mimicking other birds

I love Roman's semblance. Rwby actually planned for him to have a semblance that could allow him to place things in a pocket dimension, and was going to be called Deep Pockets. But they couldn't find a way to have him use it much, so they scraped it and eventually gave the semblance to Fiona years later.
Yea they also wanted to show how people like Roman-and by extension Arthur watts-could be decent fighters without a semblance.
I forgot all about that. It would've made him an even more deadly adversary if they kept it in. Imagine if he could put people into it. He'd be a walking Trojan Horse.
They should have gave him fire powers like the human torch or firestorm because he’s the candle whip man

- 5:01 wow , now that's a really useful semblance when there's a need for a distraction or to confuse the enemy in a hurry. This is why i loved what You do with characters like sky.

They never had the chance to be entertaining, the show was terrible at character development outside the main cast. They introduced all these characters developed none of them. Then the school blew up and we never see them ever again.
I Think it was due to change in management cuz you know…Monty died. But even with the main characters they suck at developing them, especially Ruby.
After watching fixing rwby from celtic phoeniz i went to watch how other people do their own take on rwby, with this being one of them.
Roman torchwick's voice does remind me of the late billy kemetz
So far, execution and personality seems spot on.

'Always thought Semblances were overrated myself' reference to Roman Holiday, nice. Also a call back to how Fiona's semblance was supposed to be Roman's but they never figured out how to introduce it.

Getting closer to proper episode length. Also, this is pretty nice.
- A human supremacist group makes sense, and given that Torchwick was somewhat racist towards faunus in canon, it makes sense that he would work with people like that. Also, new enemies is a welcome presence.
- New attires are welcome change.
- Team CRDL getting semblances is excellent, and those make so much sense.
- Constrast between Torchwick and Ruby is more apparent in a good way now that the criminal uses red colour.
I don’t really think Roman cares about political ideologies when it comes to business, Whether it’s Cinders group, White Fang, and now the Natural Order. From what I heard Roman’s racism was confirmed to be just typical views of humans towards Faunus in Remnant.

The Natural Order is an interesting new villain group to serve as a counter to the White Fang, and a funny coincidence considering I've been tooling around a similar group in my own fanfiction.
I've been looking forward to meeting Khaki since first seeing the Evermarrow intro and it didn't disappoint, his name sounds simple and clever to me at the same time and I love it. His weapon and voice are cool too.
The reveal of Torchwick's semblance was great and I loved Neo getting pissed at Cardin threatening to kill Roman, romantic or not that's still her dumb dumb.
HOLY CRAP THANK YOU, the one thing I hated in the original, which was a biiiig problem while the white fang was in the original story, was the flawed representation of activist groups and hate groups, being that all they did was make an activist group, turn them extreme without any representation of one of the major causes for activist groups going to far, terrorist hate groups who start pushing and doing terrible things in the name of their prejudice. It is one of the many real thing that happens and while a lot of activist groups have been able to stand strong in moral, there are a few or people as individuals who lash back and it ends up creating a harder struggle for equality because the hate group succeeded in getting the people they oppress to lash back, like a Bully who is able to pull you down to their level and say “see, I told you I was right.” And then they use the instances of the activist group fighting back as confirmation of their prejudice. Then bystanders end up being unable to see what is right and wrong because they think both sides have an argument when really, what started as oppression became a war of ideals rather than the straight fight for equal rights it should have been, bravo.
X Men mostly do a grear job having someone like Magneto as their Bad guy.
But there, the human supremacists were actually threatening to everyone.
I mean, we should have saw Blake fighting against some human supremacists and her team giving support.
We didn't even received some equivalent to Kelly which is dissapointing.
Really loved the different interactions between RWBY and CRDL. My favorite dynamic’s probably Cardin and Yang.
How you characterized the individual members of CRDL was fantastic!
Out of the CRDL boys Cardin is the most fun to watch while Dove is shaping up to be the most interesting. I like how self aware Dove is about how his team kinda sucks.
The info about dust Weiss gave was super cool world building and depressingly realistic.
Makes sense there would be a Faunus hate group in this world.

This is offical RWBY to me, the designs, mannerisms, the continuation of Vol 2 without the 'events of 3' and the dynamics of the teams.
CRDL, Each member feels unique and has personalites and moral agency, Cardin is their leader, but they don't agree with his actions 100%
Blake and Sky, nice combo, also Sky having a semblance to mimic voices while also his last name sake Lark can mimic other birds in real life.
Yang and Cardin, abrasive yet most likely will try to fight neo toghter to some degree.
Weiss and Dove, the logical girl with the 'easily slow dove'.
And the fact you are moving to animated scenes while keeping the stills which is what gave your episodes personality.

As one who is doing a full rewrite of RWBY myself, I gotta applaud you for getting this series done this way and hope to see more.
As for my own series, got 96 chapters written up so far and two more half done. Let’s just say that things during V4-5 are much different than what RT gave us and V2-3 have their own unforeseen twists.

Is it several different groups or does it have a centralized leadership?
And if it’s as powerful and influential as the White Fang?
@@EthanIlchert I think the organization is more a collective group and if it does have a leader then it’s just him. But I’d like to see a council and have them be maybe a little more organized and strutted than the white fang led by Adam. if it’s as big as the white fang there may be a Faunus arc where there’s an all out war and it results in everyone realizing that fighting gets them nowhere but in the end some people don’t change.
@@dragonsvideos6737 That would be interesting to see. Imagine if those guys tried to take over their kingdoms in an effort to establish their own fascist regimes in order to start a war with the Fang and Faunus.

The last hour has been spent with myself showing my friends the wonders of the RWBY fandom with all the various AUs , animations, rewrites etc.
Then after watching Openings 1-9 we stumbled upon your teams Evermorrow project.
Absolutely blown away, the style changes like the humanist group, RWBY going into a 2nd year with that being fleshed out among other things are just awesome.
All the new outfits hit their mark in my opinion and I have had to now add Evermorrow to the guilds watch-together-list for when EP06 drops.

i genuinely love this its amazing, the writing is immaculate it feels like vol 1-2 era rwby and still keeps the tone , its not trying hard to be bleak or edgey, characters have personalities and semblances and so on. i just im in love i feel joy i havent felt for rwby in so long and have longed for, please keep up the good work man because this is awsome this is what the rwby community needs. if u were the main writer for rwby it probably wouldnt of had such a tragic fate.

Sky semblance seem very good since he can fool his enemies into either leave an area or fall into a trap however the problem with that is that he need stay in hiding but make sure the enemy can hear him to use his powers plus that would only work a few times until the real person whose voice sky is using knows what going and tell they're crew to ignore what they're voices tells them to do
Torchwic has a SEMBLENCE, I can’t wait for the next episode
"Atlas" we get to see how Team CRDL's and roman's semblance works
Not gonna lie the artwork improved drastically from Ep 1. Two, the fact your going down an alternate-story path honestly is a massive improvement. Small important suggestion though, consider adjusting the Dust mines run by the Schnee Company to be Open-Pit Mines. This makes more sense since there's less likely hood that the Grimm could attack Miners & Staff, since there's no where they can hide to do so Open-Pit mines can be easily guarded compared to far more dangerous closed underground mines. The fact those exist could actually add a sense of world building Weiss could state the Company changed from the Far more dangerous Underground Mines to Open-Pit Mining both as a safety precaution against the Grimm and to prevent possible risks to the miners and staff. Which would be true. Remember Grimm love Dark and enclosed environments for hunting "Prey." Why would anyone want to risk their employees' safety if the simpler solution is just blast enough of the mine open so they can see what their doing and avoid unnecessary dangers to begin with? Weiss is pops is a penny pincher after all but he also runs a business safety is one of his responsibilities as the company's president, nobody safe nobody works right? I'd like to hear your thoughts on this suggestion please?

Also, it could still reflect the SDC being evil. I mean, an open mine is more destructive to the envioroment and sometimes are Open with explosions that can affect the air polluting it with metals and such.
Ding DIng Ding You got it! You figured out the underlying "EVIL" of the Dust Companies. On the SURFACE they're "GOOD" but below that..well every company has a dark secret or 10... Another could be "DUST Experimentation" on the Fanus. After all Dust would've been needed to be tested out on SOMEBODY at some point right? Weiss herself even stated Dust can be Harmful if the proportions are wrong. What if She only knew the Surface Level of that Harm, But her Father was fully aware of the horrific side-effects Too much Dust exposure would cause? Dust from what we've gathered in the Original series is like a double-edged sword so that could also work as an explaination for the White Fang's movement shifting from simple words and protests to violent action. Oscar getting double-teamed by Ruby and Penny in a hug might be my favorite part of the opening.
The "Natural Order" was something the original series desperately needed. The closest thing we ever saw to any of the racism or discrimination the faunus claimed to suffer from was the results of their own criminal actions. Having an actually racist group taking extreme action against them really helps fix that.
I love Sky's Semblance it is so cool and low key funny
I just wanted to thank everyone working on this project. I've been following RWBY since the beginning and have grown to hate the original series as it went on. Out of all the volumes pass 3, I only enjoyed 7. Volume 7 gave me a breath of fresh air that gave me hope in a more grounded setting but was immediately shot down back into overdramatic situations in Volume 8. I always wanted the characters to be more fleshed out in terms of their training and maturity before stepping out into the world which is why I've wished for a long time we could return to the school setting. Sorry for the long explanation, but again I want to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for creating this. The writing and the VAs did a fantastic job capturing the characters and I will be supporting this AU as if it was the original instead.

Man this is so greatly done, from the music, the character interactions, the villains. Loved that team CRDL gets actual personalities that are memorable. Congratulations to the voice cast. Like all others, I cannot wait for what comes next.
1:12 Not gonna lie: I 100 percent expected that group walking up to the building to be CRDL, and the camera/pov change to view Team RWBY with CRDL missing from beside them.
Ha, color-coordinated Ruby and Roman. Makes sense actually given their ideological opposites and weirdly good foils to eachother's worldviews and personalities. Kinda makes me hope they're forced to team up in future just for the comedy gold of them annoying the hell out of eachother.
I just called Cardin “bone-head” twice when he was about to go in and try to take on Roman himself.

Just found and binged the series. The writing is great & the voices are spot on! Found a really good cast for this.
Finaly my man Torchwick Gets to show off his semblance. It was a shame they never found a way for him to show it off in the show, then again you just did right here and made it battle capable. I am both interested and kind of scared were you take the natural order, at this moment it has some interesting paths it can take but also some bland paths and a path that I think would be just horrible to take, I will wait and see.
This project is so cool!! Kinda happy the rwby series screwed up so cool fan series like this try to write the show better lol. Best of luck to everybody on this!!

Well if you're going for something that matches the tone of the first few volumes, I'd say you've nailed it. And yeah, the expansion on CRDL in terms of giving them Semblances and distinct personalities is excellent.
