- Purchased this 26 cm Ring Light camera phone tripod that clamps on the side of your table.
I'm pretty happy with the purchase, considering how cheap it is compared to others I've seen. And it does the job for my iPhone. I can get nice overhead shots with it. Just need a sturdy table for video filmings.

the phone clamp is the opposite side
It all comes down to the size of your camera for that matter. One of the phone cameras I tried was a little too big. So no matter how I changed the angle, a part of the ring light gets caught into the frame. So, whether the clamp is placed in front or at the back of the lamp, it's alright as long as you get a good lighted footage. ;)

does it rotate around the axis where its clamped?
Hey there! Once the tripod is clamped on the table, there is a knob to loosen it to make the whole stand rotate (ie. facing from right to left).
But if you're talking about rotating the far top end of the tripod 180 degrees, (ie. from left bottom to right bottom), then no. It can only go as far straight up about 90 degrees.

What is the length of the arm?

Thank you for this! So, question - any thoughts on what I need to do for the ring light not to appear on my screen? I've been filming "Plan with me videos" and my ring light is clearly visible.
Honestly, to tell you the truth, for most of my recent videos, I omitted using the ring light. Haha! I just made sure my room is brightly lit. Then, adjust the lighting of the videos later on my video editor software.
But previously, when I was still using the ring light, there were a lot of trial and errors. For me, I found it best to position my camera phone in front of the ring light, rather than at the back of it. Light would still be particularly good from that position.

You can cover it with white cloth or fabric to act like a diffuser.

Is there any way I can use this stand detaching ring light?? Im going crazy with the reflection
Sure. For the past year, I've actually used the stand without the ring light. Just made sure my room is bright enough. For better lighting, I would usually adjust the lighting on my video editing software later.
Simply unscrew the ring light from the stand, and directly screw on the phone holder instead.
@@StarinaJar_ Thanks for your response. Unfortunately, my phone holder is attached to the ring light. So, I don't think there is a way to get rid off it😒

Yes, the light comes with the whole set. My only advice is... depending on the online shopping platform you choose to buy, properly check the item description first before checking out. Some of them sell without the light, and some only sell some of the parts. I noted quite a couple of people did that mistake of not verifying the items before making their purchases. Good luck!
