WOW Brian how in the world did you keep that thing from crashing into the trees ? The things just way so fast ! I love it ! I got to get me one ! Always it's way enjoyable and fun just to watch you fly and thanks for all you do. Thanks camera crew ! Great review ! Can't wait for your next review !
That things got some speed and power but disappears so quick and easy! Quiet and slows down fairly well giving the best of both worlds. This one I’d throw in the air during a family bbq when it warms up. Great flying Mr Phillips & great camera work from the camera crew 😂
Love that ice landing! The thrust reverse would be interesting with a folding prop, Brian. Great job keeping it all in frame, AND not stuffing Brian in a box, Camera Crew 👍
It is really good! After playing with it for a while, my only technical issue is the scoop on the front of the nose...it's gonna get dirty, and LED's would help a lot for orientation, this time of year when the trees make the plane disappear, but what a GREAT air frame, and power system. Does what it says it does, and does it really well!!! bprc.me/ElectroStreak
When a rising female Nascar star becomes a fan of Brian Phillips RC. We had the honor of having rising Nascar star Jade Avedisian and her family visit us two weeks ago. Jade made a name for herself racing in the 600cc micro sprints and winning everything including 4 national championships and then she moved up to the midget class which is controlled kaos on 4 wheels with 450 horsepower. In 2023 she joined a winning team, KKM, while with KKM she had 5 wins, 19 top 5 finishes, she made the A-Main in the 2023 Chili Bowl, which is the biggest race of the year and she is finished 14th which is the highest place a female has ever placed in that race in the 39 year of the history of the Chili Bowl.. She went on to win the 2023 Xtreme Outlaw National Midget Series Champion. It's never been done before in this series or USAC and probably will never be repeated, She accomplished all this when she was 16, she's 18 now. Watch the 2024 highlights of the BC39 race that was held back in September and you will see how tough she is. Anyways while they were visiting I had to show off my airplane collection and flew a couple of planes. Jade took an interest in it and asked if she could try it, of course if I get a chance to introduce a new pilot to the sport I'm all in, so we set her up on a buddy box flying a Apprentice STS, I showed her what the controls on the transmitter do and the I took off, trimmed the plane out and let her take over, after she figure out what the controls did she was flying pretty straight and level, of course the plane was on safe select, after flying the pattern for about 10 minutes and watching how the plane reacted at different throttle settings I took the plane back over and landed it and let her take it off and she did on the first try and then we started working on landings, the first few attempt were a little bouncy but on her third time she greased it, the smile on her face, PRICELESS. In my 35 years of flying rc and teaching people how to fly I have never had someone pickup on it as quickly as she did. I told her and her dad about your RUclips channel and said it was a wealth of information about everything RC including finding the right aircraft for a beginner, I received an email from her dad and he stated that Jade was binge watching a lot of your videos on trainer aircraft, they ended up going to a hobby shop near Mooresville, North Carolina where they live and purchased an Apprentice STOL S 700mm RTF based on your review of the plane, they haven't flown it yet because racing season is starting, but he said the plane will be going with them to the races. Jade will be making her Nascar ARCA debut in April.....
That's so cool!! We love to hear about new pilots in the hobby! Maybe she can get my girls to fly. We'll keep an eye out for her debut in April. Tell them to hit us up if they have any questions... we'd be happy to help!
The V1200 was FASSSST, but I preferred the V900, since it was assumed to be a belly lander...the V1200 had super thin retracts, and gave some people issue, I think, that couldn't make 110% perfect landings 100% of the time - like me ;) This plane has the look and feel of Warmliners. It's very good, but I think some will want the older, but still very good Conscendo Evo, since I think the market for Warmliners/Hotliners is still kinda small. Either way, I hope you decide to get your hands on one, even if it's borrowing it at the field for a single flight - then you'll want one to take home ;) bprc.me/ElectroStreak
I haven't seen such a beautiful bird for a long time. Arrow quickly. Not recommended for beginners but really very impressive video. Thanks for upload and your content Nice fligth 🤟👍😊
@@BrianPhillipsRC By the way, -I do love listening to you laughing your ass off when a plane is really good. You KNOW something is worth doing when you hear grown ups laughing their asses off doing it. (Get your mind out of the gutter) And I think I'm going to buy one of these with your link. Oh boy!
Great entertaining review as always. Product commentary: The tight tight battery and electronics bay is ridiculous. Changing batteries shouldn't be so painful and doesn't need to be.
yes, but to the plane's defense, after we got the wires moved around, and LEFT the strap closed on itself, it made the re-loading of a 2nd battery quite a bit easier. Also, the foam is so strong, it didn't tear the heck out of the plane when we were loading, something that has been an issue with other lesser planes of the past ;) As typical, some imperfections are unavoidable, but yeah it would be amazing if it was as easy as slide it into a pocket, like the T-28 1.1m, but that plane doesn't go 130+ MPH ;)
Hey guys! Awesome flight! Love it! I have a quick question. I scratch built a beautiful 60” ultra stick. Needless to say this is the first go around with a programmable TX (out of the hobby for over a decade) and I’m having severe problems getting switches and channels assigned as well as ensuring I can toggle between as3x and no stabilization. Is there a very comparable radio setup video I can watch? I have inboard flaps, ailerons, elev, rud, and of course throttle. I am running a 40 amp esc with a 2826 1200kv motor and an AR630 Rx with as3x and safe. Please help! Thank you very much!
Looks like a suped-up version of my old school Wattage Hawk from the early 2000s. Proven and tested design from that aircraft and other iterations, which is likely why Horizon went with it.
Great video! I didn't think I'd be interested in Sailplanes because I love my TTE and P51 1.1m but your video changed my mind! Are there any pros or cons worth to be mentioned when comparing the upcoming ElectroStreak with the (much older?) Conscendo Evolution that I should consider before buying?
Finally they've added a warm liner to their lineup. Yeah Brian, why not a folding prop? I used to fly the HK Super Kinetic 815. It looks just like this. They are foamie hot liners. I love this style of plane cuz it rips and glides so nicely. However because it's fast I would spray paint bright, pink, oranges and yellows. So cool. Sorry Megan doesn't like that spot to camera crew cuz I love it as a fan watching.
I think Great Planes used to make something that looks just like this plane called t Ricohet back in 2011. Well anyway I would see it in the Tower Hobbies catalog back then and website!
Say man you rock man I like you. You the man. I’ll take it. Electro streak is back baby. I’m getting that one. Well I got the sportix 1.1m. The E-flite electro streak 1.1m is my next one
Seems very similar to the Flightline Velocity. The only problem I had with the Velocity was snapping props on landing. A folding prop would be ideal. Otherwise, nice plane.
Im sure I already saw this exact plane some years ago. I just don't remember the name ! Anyways, this will be my next one for sure ! Excellent revie, tho
yeah! She's a keeper too. I really like when the planes do what they say they're going to do, instead of pretending to be a "trainer" or "bellylander" with a million things to rip off on flight number one with perfect landing...there's a lot of that going around right now. I long for the RC days when all the foam is like this - it's SOOOO dang strong. It's something else...and maybe I'm just misremembering, but I think the V1200/V900 would be similar, but not as good. This thing is STOUT, and I think of the planes that would be better with this stiff, strong foam...granted, they might not take some of the abuse that we like to throw at them, the flight performance would be HUGE ;) Hope you get one ;) bprc.me/ElectroStreak
Hey Brian my wife and I love all your reviews. Can you please do a review on Bana Hobby's Xfly twin 40mm edf F-14 it would be a great help thank you in advance. Keep doin what you're doing for the hobby culture.
Is it the cold weather messing with the camera, or is my internet slow tonight, as the video quality's pretty poor compared to usual, but yeah that thing's a rocket. The sound of it going by with no throttle's cool. Reminds me of 'the old days' up at the local school with my Gentle Lady and the cox .049 engine on a little tripod on top. When the engine ran out of fuel, you had some time to glide around, but those low passees, with the lil engine and not spinning prop made for a cool sound as it went by. I'll assume the prop on this one may windmill? Probably all in the setup menu or something. Folding prop may not be best for such high speed flight?
I'm not sure what's going on. We filmed in 4K as usual. Can you "force" quality UP and see if it'll run? I just double checked that 4K is still on the list, which means it's still at 4K, but that doesn't mean we had especially good colors and lighting. We're in the middle of winter, so "beggars can't be choosers" with flight/weather windows, unfortunately. Wish we were flying this on a calm, very GREEN day, so the plane would show up a bit better. Yeah, that sound is very neat!
Cool plane!! Check out the new RotorScale MD-500E Super Scale 470 Size GPS Stabilized Helicopter - RTF by motion rc! They finally made a Hughes 500 MD just released! I ordered mine already!
I'm still learning the as3x plus. Were you able to get full stabilization on both wings when you split the ailerons. Either in safe or out of safe. ? Cause normally there's only stabilization on Port 23 and 4 correct
i have the consendo evo and i think it sounds alot beta with fly bys than this one. thats jst me. with no folding prop on this one why why. great flys as always Brian. you make it look so easy.
IDK, it sure looks like a red Conscendo with some greeblies on the wings and a fixed prop. LOL! It's a nice looking plane and looks like a great intermediate flyer. Glad E-Flite finally addressed the lack of rigidity issue of the Conscendo. However is this E-Flite's attempt at a crossover? With the obvious Conscendo design I think this is going to confuse customers. With the shortened wingspan and fuselage, fixed prop, and lack of energy retention it doesn't fit the role of a true motor glider. However it doesn't really fit the role of a sport plane either.
Why the heck didn't they do a folding prop on this like the Conscendo Evo? Still looks like it can do a bit of soaring/floating stuff but more to avoid snapping it on belly landings.
Because otherwise you would have to balance the propeller and very few people can do that. For example, I tore the propeller off in flight with the Conscendo, that was with 4s on a high-speed pass, it wasn't balanced...
@ Really? I’ve had mine for three years and it’s been flawless and I always run 4S. Only time it had an issue was my fault for not securing the canopy properly with a battery that was too chunky and the prop caught it.
@@CrazyTechLab Yes, unfortunately, it made a bang during the full throttle pass and I immediately took the throttle off and landed in gliding flight. I had no idea what happened, I thought something had happened to the battery as the canopy also came off and flew off.
@BrianPhillipsRC You all got your hands full , something new on the property lately & it showing. XK should be making a comeback with reliable inexpensive 1s packs & without assisted & mostly troublesome Flights envelopes so common today. Reading the Wind will become 2nd nature & that a good start for all Heli enthusiasts.
Hi Bro Once you are available please let me know below queries 1.Between Flywing Airwolf 450L RTF Versus Yu Xiang Apache 11s RTF which one will you recommend?for beginner 2. any other RTF helicopter you would recommend?
I can't speak to your question, as we don't have the Airwolf YET....but we will soon, so if you want my opinion, you'll have to wait for a fair comparison. As for BEGINNER, yeah most RTF "GPS Heli Drones" are fine for beginners, but they are a LOT OF HELI for a beginner....and they're pricey. Hiya mate. There are 2 very popular sites in the UK, Model Sport and Wheelspin models. Maybe you could try partner up with these to make it easier to support you from the UK. Not a 100% on how affiliated work but just a thought👍
Thanks for the info! We'll look into both of those options. We do have a partnership with Horizon Hobby UK if you ever shop with them: bprc.me/HorizonHobbyEU
Still watching, but I'll be shocked if Brian doesnt strain this thing through a tree. It just disappears, and depth perception is probably non-existent. You should have flown this up on the hill instead of in tree alley by the pond :)

Only time it had an issue was my fault for not securing the canopy properly with a battery that was too chunky and the prop caught it.
probably too much power/ rpm for it
@ Yeah I guess that makes sense. Force on the hinges would be pretty immense especially with 4S
@@CrazyTechLab Yes, unfortunately, it made a bang during the full throttle pass and I immediately took the throttle off and landed in gliding flight. I had no idea what happened, I thought something had happened to the battery as the canopy also came off and flew off.
Speaking of the V1200, Any thoughts on doing another video with it? That plane is awesome!!
Brian wasn't really impressed with the gear on that plane. Prolly not😊
@ to be fair, neither am I! But I still love it! I have done a few things to make them better..
I would still buy the conscendo 1.5m 100x over again.
Nate gets one , Brian gets one , Jay gets one , EVERYBODY gets one !!! wheres the new XK micro AH -60 K 170 ? Uuuyyhhhh !!
We're working on it! We're hoping to have the new XK heli soon!
Hi Bro
Once you are available please let me know below queries
1.Between Flywing Airwolf 450L RTF Versus Yu Xiang Apache 11s RTF which one will you recommend?for beginner
2. any other RTF helicopter you would recommend?
I can't speak to your question, as we don't have the Airwolf YET....but we will soon, so if you want my opinion, you'll have to wait for a fair comparison.
As for BEGINNER, yeah most RTF "GPS Heli Drones" are fine for beginners, but they are a LOT OF HELI for a beginner....and they're pricey. There's a lot of less expensive choices, and might help you progress as a pilot.
Here's a short list of heli's we've worked with over the last few years...

I fully predict a touch and go on the pond. What about you?
@BrianPhillipsRC Ar right ok I didnt know they shipped to the UK as we are not in the EU anymore but will take a look thanks👍
Looks fun but it seems like HH just rereleased another Conscendo …
Yea land in the pond see how long it takes for it to get to the other side 😂😂😂
Still watching, but I'll be shocked if Brian doesnt strain this thing through a tree. It just disappears, and depth perception is probably non-existent.
You should have flown this up on the hill instead of in tree alley by the pond :)
BrianPhillipsRC can you do more Subcriber specials if you can
First😊
Not a glider....
Who said it was a glider?
