Yes I have watched the Chosen for the last 3 1/2 years, I love the show, I believe it is a Blessing to all of us, God has blessed the Chosen, and all of us through the Chosen, I believe God has worked through Dallas Jenkins, to bring this wonderful show to Us.

I have studied the Bible for 40 years. There is a considerable amount of content in the chosen that is true. Some of it is word by word. But there is considerable amount of content that is not in the Bible. I love this show, but I use the wisdom God has given me to discern between what is true and what isn’t true. I’m not happy with all of the scenes. There are some that are a little offensive. But I realize this is not a complete biblical account. Being a TV series they have to add in drama, creativity, and backdrop issues. So I would encourage anyone watching to please check your Bibles for these scenes that you see in the movie it’s important to be reading your Bible regularly,anyway God bless you guys.
You are absolutely correct. The Chosen does have a disclaimer pretty much telling us that the series is not an absolute replacement for the Bible. It is shortened and actual places and scenes are modified to make this an amazing Series. And those of you who are more curious and want to know the exact things moments and saying etc. should refer to the Bible. As for any movies, show or series, the book is always better!😊❤🙏🏼📿

✝️ I do believe, however, that Dallas is expanding the fan base to evangelize, not monetize. As Christians one of our top priorities, if not #1, is to show others the light. Dallas has found a way to capivate all viewers in a relatable way while still maintaining the foundation of scripture. I have learned to keep my Bible at my side whenever I watch to look deeper into the lessons of each episode. I believe many non Christians have picked up the book for the first time thanks to the Chosen!

I have watched The Chosen all Series, all Episodes over and over! There are just so many "don't miss it" moments! Faith based programming, movies, etc. is the BEST thing we can watch - heartfelt, uplifting, etc. I am glad to show box offices how much MORE we'll come to the movies when it's this type of genre! We've been the 5%... investors since day one. Telling the Gospel story is powerful...telling the world about Jesus. It's premise is a great balance that puts flesh on the Bible's words.
There are an estimated 8 billion people in the WORLD, this is monumental! And from 12 Disciples to 1/3rd of the world worshiping in Jesus' name-thy Kingdom come!
If you read scripture you notice when they creatively added to scripture. I think that's good because I makes me reten to scripture to check on something. Even with the addition to scripture it is good for thought.

I also received two books the Chosen written by Amanda Jenkins. That follows after the beginning of the chosen. It was very interested and added important ideas I never thought about. I have watched The Chosen repeatedly.... waiiiiiiting for Season 5 to make an appearance. I have enlisted other family members, and a few friends to watch along. Company coming in from out of town for a short 3 day stay, was no exception. I cannot tell you how many people have said 'thank you so much for tuning me on to this'. I see it as a way I (hopefully) have helped some come back around to where they were meant to be. This show sweeps your heart away, causes you to feel the love of our God, gives you some laughs and some pauses for thinking. So, I must say as I believe this show IS working miracles and to move away from the faith-based branding would be an enormous mistake (imho). THIS is the whole of everything that caused the show to spread like much needed fire. I'm stingy, 😉 but I say stick with what the world appears to be craving. Carrol

No one of us is perfect in anything or everything we do. None of us humans will get the love and agreement from all humans. Even Jesus, God, Himself still has millions of humans not only disagreed with Him but even worse hates Him. Dallas Jenkins works is definitely blessed and yet definitively not completely perfect. As a sister in Christ, I think Dallas is doing very well with the blessings and works Our Heavenly Father’s had purposed for him. I encourage Dallas to keep living and working as he feels lead by God and disregard humanly opinions. When Dallas feels discourage, I pray Jesus will bless him to remember John 15:18-25. God is with us.

I do appreciate all the other non-Biblical items like the characters of Atticus, Gaius, or some disciples making oil to contribute the ministry all very well done and believable too.
I know some of it is not Biblically accurate, but it does send me to my Bible and Bible Commentaries to check it out! End result--I am studying my Bible more, especially New Testament.

After reading THE POEM OF THE GOD-MAN I was glad that I had seen THE CHOSEN, but I learned that even the poor had well- seamed garments! The birth of Jesus shown by THE CHOSEN was different in reality……. My compliments though to all actors!

I have started to read Maria Valtorta‘s reports on her Visions on the life of Mary and Jesus, there is a lot of trustworthy information in there about clothing for instance. Mary spun and wove all garments of the family. She was trained in the temple. Jesus wore a red, finely made tunic when he went as twelve year old to the temple. The series of books are entitled „THE POEM OF THE GOD-MAN“
