Jonathan recently made an interview speaking about how he went through depression because of his deep empathy for what Jesus went through, and I can only imagine this path he had to walk. Can we all just lift him up in prayer? To God be the glory ❤
@@katiezimmer5464 we can say. They were filming several episodes that week. We had to sign NDA’s, and can’t discuss specifics. Episode 2 was one of the scenes.
The sadness cannot outweigh the joy that comes knowing that Jesus loves us so much that He went through all of this for us that our sins could be forgiven. He overcame death, hell and the grave that they should have no hold on us. He arose from death and gives us new life that is eternal! The love He has for us is beyond our comprehension. The joy of finally seeing the One who did this for us is beyond our understanding. We will worship Him and praise Him forever!
The thing is Jesus didn't need faith. He knew for an absolute fact who he was and that he would be resurrected. Still a horrible thing to live through for US.

I don’t care if it’s reenactment of the actual happening I can’t watch it. It breaks my heart to think what they did to him. It makes me sick at my stomach to think people would treat someone like that much less the son of God, how cruel, hateful, evil and dark that assault was I can’t believe he suffered so very much for me, it makes me cry just bawling To think he loves me that much and made that sacrifice for my sins so that I can live forever in heaven, I every time I watch a reenactment of that day I don’t care who’s playing the part it just destroys me! @@deborahcoward9869 His delivery is just phenomenal. The pauses in his speech carry just as much weight as the words and just stone cold delivery. His performance is definately going to support Jonathon's performance in some very difficult scenes. For the same reason that you can only watch The Passion movie so much, I think his performance is going to be both brilliant and painful to watch at the same time.
Even though I know season 5 will be quite emotional, I am awaiting anxiously for it. I send my blessings to the whole cast and all who have been involved with the chosen. To Dallas thank you for doing The Chosen. I watch it I cry, I laugh and it’s so difficult to believe that the Son of God had to endure such torture, degrading, pain for us sinners.
A short of the scene where Jesus calls Judas is why I first started watching The Chosen, and I binged everything that had been released online in the next few days. To see the arc of this pivotal person thoughtfully explored was exciting to contemplate. I've always thought he must have started out OK and then turned from the Way. A cautionary tale for us all.
The Glory and praise when Jesus rides into Jerusalem and the crowd praising him saying “Hosanna in the highest! Palm Sunday! Although I know that I a short time they will condemn him it still warms my heart to see the love and adoration of our Savior!
This is an incredible endeavor with far reaching consequences...something to hold on to as the world around us falls apart. THE CHOSEN has rendered all others like it almost unwatchable, 2nd rate. It has touched me deeply, emotionally. I feel closer to Christ and I have done something I never thought I could ever do: write praise music (I am in the church choir). It is inspiring to see a cast and crew so totally committed to this holy series. I look forward to the rest of this epic although knowing a flood of tears is coming...as it must. Thank you for bringing Jesus here, now. Jonathan is awesome.
I am truly excited about this season 5, and all the other projects Dallas has shared with us! This season is often viewed as an ending, one of extreme sadness and ago y... which it is, however for me this time in Christ's life, though an ending to hus earthly life, is the flinging open of His true life and reason for coming here in the first place! His life and Resurrection depic His greatness and infallibility, His death is the reminder to us of how fallen, reprobate, lost and hopeless mankind is. I hate that part, we are so cruel and disgusting. What His promise to us is an absolutely wonderful future, an eternity with Him!😊❤
They are BEAUTIFUL, the one that inspired me was when Judas Iscariot betrayer, how his heart got confused & then got hurt, knowing that JESUS CHRIST is the MESSIAH 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I seriously want to watch the series but I haven’t got a chance yet. I hope your eating healthy fruits and vegetables nuts and seeds❤only! God Bless you Jonathan hope you hit it! If not you went the wrong way. I pray you give that money back. Please so God seriously loves you and so do I ❤
I am following the word of God and eating all of the things God has provided. Meat is always on the menu, along with bread, potatoes and lots of fresh veggies and fruit.
I am a fan of the "Left Behind" novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins..Dallas'Father.. Dallas has..continued... The Thread of Witness his father started...Wow😮🙂😇🇮🇱🙏🙏!!
I've been studying the Bible for 50 years what I like about the chosen is bringing the characters to life and I feel you represent them as close to real as possible thank you I hope that some of the unbelievers listen and have their eyes and ears opened by your portrayal of Jesus and the disciples thank you again looking forward to season 5 in the theater I love seeing it on the big screen first and I'm enjoying some of your other movies also
So disappointed that the Widow of Nain story was skipped. I get that not everything could be captured, but that's one of the least known, yet most amazing and teaching story...he walks all night, 30 miles, slightly uphil, comes into this small town where a funeral procession is occuring, Jesus interrupts it, sees the deceased, but then goes to the mother to first comfort her before raising her son...then he walks away to do other things. WHY this amazing, simple, seemingly insignificant story? It teaches so much...and of course it's an amazing story like that of Jairus' daughter or Lazarus. Better not skip the story of John and Peter raising the cripple at the temple steps!
I commend the actors, especially those portraying Jesus and Judas; that is a massive responsibility. I’m grateful for the commitment to their craft in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This show is absolutely phenomenal. I’m excited for season five!!!
Im excited to continue the chosen season 5, but sad/thankful , knowing what is coming. starling palm Sunday, ash Wednesday and the joy is back on Easter. Matthew 22:37 Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind
The problem with the set of the Last Supper is that Jesus and the Apostles were recling at dinner, which was the norm for dining, and not sitting at a table as portrayed by the Da Vinchi and other rerprestations of the event. Would make the scene more true to the way things were at that time.
I'm not sure about the historical precedent. I just watched all 4 seasons and they always ate at a table indoors as far as I remember except once when they ate at Lazarus's house they were sitting upright at attention eating a snack. The Romans ate reclining.
@@chrystinereynolds7509 I recently seen the passage. It said that they reclined at the table. I was remembering the table but forgot the reclining part.
Judas...I appreciate the unveiling...progression of Judas. He held a fundamental self determinant will that he simply, progressively reinforced. I hope Christians and non Christians watch and relate. Jesus calls us to HIMSELF. If we will not release our preconceptions and be changed along the way, we all face this danger of ultimate betrayal. Some, it appears, already have as they seek to twist scripture. Judas was not a traiter at the start. His unwillingness to change produced a hardening of the heart that, in the end, turned him to a reprobate.
Honestly I don't think I can watch the crucifixion, Dallas did such a job humanizing everyone to the point you where you could feel for them. Not like other films by Hollywood where they just ran through what happened. I will always cherish the entire series. Thank you Dallas and all the writers and the Cast. God Bless you all.
Loved every bit of every season. Of the things they added though, the only thing I found hard to believe was him having a 1400 year old bridle made of organic materials still intact and usable 😂
I'm torn while part of me is so excited to see Season 5 because even in these sneek peeks, they look amazing. I'm also torn because I know what's to follow & what's to come. The pain, burden & weight of the world will come down like we've never seen before & it will fall squarely on Jesus's shoulders. I know the set, all the actors, the writing, editing, everything will follow suit and it will be spectacular events to behold to be sure. I also know to bring lots of kleenex too. I'm sending all of you my prayers 🙏 with deep abiding ❤ & gratitude for all you do. Amen & Amen 🙏 🙌
I am eager to see the rest of the chosen. I'm in love with the words and works of Jesus Christ . Hallelujah Great movie . Good job to all that have worked so hard in making these seasons. God Bless All of You. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🌅🌅🌅🙏
I just wish we had more people to watch. They are missing out. Our country needs this. There trying to take God out of everything . It is so sad. I love this show it is hard to watch what they did to him but the miracle is he is alive and well with us. Thank you for the chosen!
There is something deep in my heart saying that this season is going to be tough. Especially because last year wrecked me. Seeing the Bible come to life on the big screen, especially with these specific actors...it just really impacted me.
Mark my words: Just as Gaius was set up to be the captain of Capernaum way early in the game, Yussuf will prove to be Joseph of Arimathea, Atticus is gonna be the Roman official who says that Jesus truly was the son of God at the crucifixion, and I have a very ugly feeling that Quintus is going to be the one to scourge him, taking out all the anger for his demotion.
According to the Tennach he would be unrecognizable as being human after his scourging. Some were amazed that he was already dead while others were amazed he was still alive. Meaning those who were amazed about his early death weren't fully aware of what was done to him and those who were aware didn't understand what was keeping him alive.
THIS is what filmmaking is all about pekple!! The green screen and styrofoam sets pale in comparison to the sheer blood and sweat that has come into this series and it shows!!

The actor playing Caiaphas is scary he is so good at this role
He played Mr. Litman on Seinfield..He was Elaine's boss. I was so surprised that he was the one who took this role on. He really does it well.❤
@@deborahcoward9869 His delivery is just phenomenal.
To see the Last Supper portrayed will be so awesome! Can hardly wait! 😊💕
I can’t wait! This is just like going back in time and watching real life. I must say Luke (Judas) had gorgeous eyes!
Love Atticus. He may serve Cesar but he does so much to help Jesus. Amen!
Thank you to bring the série all over the world 🙏🎥📸❤
I'm curious about how they will present the Transfiguration on Mt Tabor. It has to happen in season 5, right?
Thank you Dallas for the whole storytelling of the life of Jesus
Even though I know season 5 will be quite emotional, I am awaiting anxiously for it. Jesus sacrifice, and even through life’s turmoil, gives us the hope and joy that is His kingdom and everlasting life, but it is for us to choose which path to follow, Jesus way or our own misguided mistakes and failures. God bless everyone….👍❤️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Looking forward to Season 5!
I send my blessings to the whole cast and all who have been involved with the chosen. To Dallas thank you for doing The Chosen. I watch it I cry, I laugh and it’s so difficult to believe that the Son of God had to endure such torture, degrading, pain for us sinners.
I cant wait best show ever bless you all
Can’t wait🙏🙏🙏🙏❤️
A short of the scene where Jesus calls Judas is why I first started watching The Chosen, and I binged everything that had been released online in the next few days. To see the arc of this pivotal person thoughtfully explored was exciting to contemplate. I've always thought he must have started out OK and then turned from the Way. A cautionary tale for us all.
The chosen is so inspiring and true God bless everyone involved in the chosen
The Glory and praise when Jesus rides into Jerusalem and the crowd praising him saying “Hosanna in the highest! Palm Sunday! Although I know that I a short time they will condemn him it still warms my heart to see the love and adoration of our Savior!
When he was on the donkey, I was screaming at my T.V . Jesus don't go and bawling my eyes out. I'm not ready.
1:57 LoooL 🤣 "THIS IS SPARTA" hahhahahah
I am truly excited about this season 5, and all the other projects Dallas has shared with us! This season is often viewed as an ending, one of extreme sadness and ago y... which it is, however for me this time in Christ's life, though an ending to hus earthly life, is the flinging open of His true life and reason for coming here in the first place! His life and Resurrection depic His greatness and infallibility, His death is the reminder to us of how fallen, reprobate, lost and hopeless mankind is. I hate that part, we are so cruel and disgusting. What His promise to us is an absolutely wonderful future, an eternity with Him!😊❤
They are BEAUTIFUL, the one that inspired me was when Judas Iscariot betrayer, how his heart got confused & then got hurt, knowing that JESUS CHRIST is the MESSIAH 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
you are blessed , thanks for all your efforts , thanks
Judus can't learn. He doesn't try. Can't wait to see season 5.
Yes. Love!!!!
Make time, show is incredible!!
What do u mean "I hope u give the money back?"
I am a fan of the "Left Behind" novels by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins..Dallas'Father.. Dallas has..continued... The Thread of Witness his father started...Wow😮🙂😇🇮🇱🙏🙏!!
Thank you, all for what you do!!!!❤😊
I've been studying the Bible for 50 years what I like about the chosen is bringing the characters to life and I feel you represent them as close to real as possible thank you I hope that some of the unbelievers listen and have their eyes and ears opened by your portrayal of Jesus and the disciples thank you again looking forward to season 5 in the theater I love seeing it on the big screen first and I'm enjoying some of your other movies also
So disappointed that the Widow of Nain story was skipped.
"The book was better"
I commend the actors, especially those portraying Jesus and Judas; that is a massive responsibility. I’m grateful for the commitment to their craft in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
This show is absolutely phenomenal. I’m excited for season five!!!
Thank you, Jonathan and Jesus I love you Jesus❤❤❤❤
Judas' character sooo well played well done Luke
Im excited to continue the chosen season 5, but sad/thankful , knowing what is coming. starling palm Sunday, ash Wednesday and the joy is back on Easter. Matthew 22:37
Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind
I am surprised at how young the king is
The problem with the set of the Last Supper is that Jesus and the Apostles were recling at dinner, which was the norm for dining, and not sitting at a table as portrayed by the Da Vinchi and other rerprestations of the event.
@@PurifyWithLight Passover was totally different from their normal dining rituals. They reclined for Passover to show that they were no longer slaves!
@@chrystinereynolds7509 I recently seen the passage. It said that they reclined at the table. I was remembering the table but forgot the reclining part.
Don't hyper focus on perfection. Focus on it as a whole
May it all go smoothly As The Ruach Ha Chodesh Holy Spirit leads not as humans lead
Great job. I can't wait to see season 5.
OMG, in the spring, I'm going to have to watch it on the big screen. I wanted to binge it, but I can't wait that long. 🤦🏾♀
Seeing this image already makes me want to cry. Idk how I’m going to get through this next season 😢
So looking forward to it
Loved every bit of every season. Of the things they added though, the only thing I found hard to believe was him having a 1400 year old bridle made of organic materials still intact and usable 😂
That would have been wonderfully protected. Think of things found perfectly preserved in tombs.
God Bless you all 💖🙏🏻
Big James, com a camisa escrita em Português. ❤⚡
Wonderful actors ❤
Satan entered Judas and made the betrayal occur. However, Judas had to allow that. There doesn't have to be a series of "mistakes" to explain that.
There is something deep in my heart saying that this season is going to be tough. Especially because last year wrecked me. Seeing the Bible come to life on the big screen, especially with these specific actors...it just really impacted me.
Every scene sounds intense and will get harder and harder to watch as His life is played out literally.
Bravissimi! Un caro Saluto da Taranto Italia ❤🙏
Im glad that everybody knew but him. Sounds sick
You played the part of Judas very well don't worry we still love you
...attending to the truly biblical things happening in the world...only watching the Chosen now and then.😮❤
THIS is what filmmaking is all about pekple!! The green screen and styrofoam sets pale in comparison to the sheer blood and sweat that has come into this series and it shows!!
