Burford: This town is located on the edge of the Cotswolds and is known for its beautiful medieval architecture and cobbled streets. Great place with charm....I worked in this area as a Sales Manager.....I said to my boss, " It's not work. I get to drive thru' the best places in a car that you provide and talk to people".

This makes me sad. I’ve been living abroad in a very busy city for the past 4.5 years. My dream is to retire early and live in the Cotswolds. So calm and beautiful, wish I could at least teleport there for a day.

I remember staying at the Swan Hotel in Bibury many years ago. The door key had a large heavy brass swan attached. A boy outside was selling Bibury calendars made by his dad who was a physician there. Of course, I bought one. We talked about what stinging nettles were! A British couple we later met in New York had never heard of Bibury. They say that Henry Ford wanted to purchase Arlington Row and bring it to his Greenfield Park outside of Detroit. Great to relive my memories. Thanks.

One of my sons and his wife and my granddaughter used to live in Witney. It's a shame that the railway line was closed, but the bus service from Oxford isn't too sad.

The opening moments I guessed Broadway having visited many times and are due for a visit to the New Station at the bottom of the town. Steam Trains again of course. The Cotswolds were an almost place to live back in 1971. But fate took us to Devon and I spent most of my working life there. EXETER. And a wonderful Campus by the river. Would things have been different if the property just outside Banbury had not fallen through. D & L.

@@juicyfruit4378 Villages are meant to be quiet and peaceful. That is precisely why people move to them. Cities are meant for everyone else (you, for instance) that still need work and a busy environment full of opportunities and the noise that comes with it.

This was wonderful! Loved revisiting these villages where we spent many happy hours and lovely weather too! April and May in the Cotswolds = perfection!
If you could just convince Lake City, Washington that getting to work here in our neighborhood would make it look this good, I think they would all come out and start working.

I love this Cotswold thing but what is with all the flags and banners? Does everyone need to be reminded where they are? Yes, I know a sense of pride but...
Regarding your commercials; Skechers, I like the commercial. The second one with the mother and children in it was far better than the last one, with Mr. T in it. That one was a disaster. The "Kingdom of the Planet of The Apes Commercial is horrible'. You won't ever convince me to watch this. It is so ugly and frightening.
