I've already got the Atari Game Station Pro and it's excellent, so the quality of My Arcade offerings has definitely improved. More competition can only be a good thing for the consumer :-) Keep up the awesome work!
I think it really depends which ROMs are included. If arcade ones then *brilliant*, but these have often turned out to be lesser console ports. Interesting to see how all this ends up looking. Good to see competition to encourage Evercade to focus more on quality and better carts.
2025 is going to be an interesting year for both My Arcade and Evercade. It appears to me that My Arcade has seen what Blaze has done with its Evercade ecosystem and now wants a piece of the action especially now there releasing an Arcade machine (Alpha), A console (VS-R) and a handheld (EXP-R). I could be wrong However it just seems like a copy attempt to cash in on this nostalgia resurge as of late. 👍🎮🕹️
I have noticed that MyArcade is now appearing inside Walmart stores. They have a section of handhelds and a display of the Atari Game stations. If MyArcade has that level of distribution then they are definitely playing with larger capital. Most of their devices stink, but I’ve heard good things about the Atari game stations. It will be interesting to see how many games these things come preloaded with.
Given these are officially licenced devices I’d be surprised if the MicroSD was for anything other than extra storage to download games at cost. Evercade has physical carts and instructions as USP, struggling to see what this offers over an Anbernic or retroid type device where you can load up all the games you want at no cost.
As others have said here, Blaze has a bit more competition now. Key thing in Evercade’s favour is the ability to expand (legally) with cartridges. Whatever they do with hardware, this really is their USP. As for My Arcade, hopefully the quality is there - I can’t see the lines of Atari and Capcom getting involved otherwise, no?
It's definitely stepping on the toes of Blaze. This is the first time I have seen an image of Super Street Fighter 2 and those colours and the score look very Megadrive! Yeah what My Arcade are doing is swamping the market with the same thing in 5-6 different devices, way too much going on! UK side I can't see Argos stocking all this, they will more than likely have the Atari & Namco - Capcom 8" screen handhelds, maybe the console and mini Sonic devices. Everything else will be Amazon lol. The 8" screen handheld interests me the most at this time, the trackball and paddle are a plus for classic Atari stuff. 👍
All these devices my arcade evercade etc are very lifeless and have no real separation from one another. The potential is so friggin high but ppl are lookin to cash in over longevity content
“Flushed into the market” is the right word here.
It does seem like it though doesn't it.. why so many products at the same time?

I have been thinking about picking one of those up..

Apparently you should be able to add your own games. Agree, seems a surprise..
@ Certainly makes it more interesting if true
“Wink wink”
i would be interested in the namco one, the spin dial would be used for games like arkanoid
Yeah I was forgetting namco stuff, I was thinking capcom at the time.
Arkanoid's Taito.
@@futureskeletons66669 it is but all these machines are hackable

Ma questi fanno parte di Evercade o la vogliono sfidare? Ma non penso facciano cassette quindi lunga vita a Evercade ❤❤❤
Not part of Evercade. They do their own products.

I'll be honest it looks like cheap trash
