I don't think your throttle technique is slowing you down, it helps to keep the momentum up, it's just your driving style. and if you think of it Senna also stepped on and off the throttle at the exit of a corner. Great work man! :)

If it helps, you need to think of it as "when can I get on the throttle fully without needing to back off again" at the exit, be it gradual or while stabbing, you need to be ready to commit to full throttling earlier without washing off with understeer/oversteer. Also, if you're using the setup I've provided, the car has much more wiggle room for stability over the crests on hairpins when you get on the throttle more gradually due to the way its suspension is set-up and the increased torque in lower gears from the ratios; allowing you to get on it just that tiny bit earlier, which is what's going to contribute to your pace the most aside from a cleaner line and after fixing your braking (I noticed you're locking up a fair amount as well, you can attempt to tap the handbrake a bit to slow down more if you don't feel confident about the cars stopping ability mid braking-zone) It may "only" be 2 seconds, but speaking from experience, just finishing runs (especially on TL1) becomes exponentially more difficult once you pass 42 and enter 41 pace, as you need to be on the knife's edge over the aforementioned crests on hairpins.

Is this the default tune? you are doing some amazing 4 wheel drifts around those hairpins but I can't get mine to do that.

  • @arnvn2923

I like your technique. Good to see someone actually using the throttle similar to senna. I also do this to so it definitely excites me seeing people like you do this. Keep it up dude!

Amazing video man, your driving looks so smooth. I'm not sure if you'll see this, but can I ask for the advice on your turning technic? I'm trying to do the same but I end up turning regulary into hairpins even when I trail brake, can't wrap my head around how you slide your car in turns with almost zero steering. Sometimes I can pull this out but then car is slowing too much on the exits

Damn! This speed chime is so sick
