    Ahoi there Evil One,
welcome back! Glad to hear you are doing better. Also, great to have a new RRO video to watch 😂
Since they brought the update to the main branch a couple of weeks ago, I also started on Aurora Falls. It has been like 15 hours or so now, and I have only moved my engine like 20 meters back and forth to raise the track on the Freight Depot. I'm just running around the map, scouting routes, laying (mosty preliminary) track, relocating industries and facilities, marking spots for villages I want to build... you know... the usual stuff 🤣
The new spline tools are amazing. It is so awesome that you can use the parallel track tool on groundwork too. It makes it so much easier to make pavement for houses and other props. Also, it's so nice that the facilities not only snap now to the track, but also automatically get a foundation if the raised higher up so the don't float in the air any more. Especially for someone like me who always has the tracks higher up than the normal placement would lay them.
The new tools make laying groundwork and track so much easier and faster, and we all know, doing this is groundbreaking work... (sorry for that one^^)
Thank you for this awesome episode of RailRoads Online.
Have a great day, bye :)

I didn't notice that the ground work is added to the base of the facilities. Thats GREAT! Have fun working in Aurora Falls. Its a big one, but pretty fun! Thanks for the comment!!

I might have to actually re-install the game just to play around with some of these new track building features...

I Found the box car full of tools when I was cleaning up the yard and stuck it on the end to make it easier to get to if we needed it. 😅

They improved track building alot. It was really hard when this game came out. Still far from easy.
I dont remember how i did it exactly, but you place ballast first, then switch on it(not connected to tracks), then you connect tracks to the switch. If you place it at the end of tracks, it will always try follow gradient of those tracks, creating weird angle. It was pretty annoying feature.

Yeah, getting your ballast and rails to line up perfectly was all but impossible back then. So glad they switched to where ballast and track are placed together along with all the other track laying improvements.

Hello, I have seen your videos, and I wanted to know if the snap system has already been applied along the railway line for buildings such as coal supply and water supply for example, thank you, it would be a very good system

In 10:16 How do you get out of free mode? Also none of the rotation and gradient controls seem to be working either since the last update. The controls in this game have always been so janky lol
