- Bigger maps, bigger fun, at least that's how I feel in War Thunder sim right now. Also the Mirage is great here too, not as cracked as it is in DCS but still an awesome fighter. France did well to bring this out in the 80's...

seeing dcs crank and bvr tactics in wt sim is nice, usually people just go full ab mach 1.5 into people launching fox 1's lol
Thing is with war thunder you just fly low and it will miss, definitely different
@@Joemate23 Yea in WT missile multipathing is modeled, iirc IRL and in WT western monopulse missiles multipath at 30m, and R-27ER does at 20m, so it's nice to know. Enjoyed the video!
Cranking isn’t necessarily a DCS tactic. They do it in real combat.
@@Joemate23ER’s can still hit you if you don’t notch when on the deck. With the ER buff this patch I got smacked a few times even on the deck. High altitude maps like Afghan most def gotta notch.
@@jordancourse5102 I know, but in terms of simulators you don't see real life tactics except in DCS, and some obscure sims like BMS

The AIM-54 can be set to go mad-dog if TWS is lost, might have been what that second missile warning was

10 min in, I'm going to guess that the reason the magic missed is because of the arming time. The missile takes something like 1,5 sec after it leaves the rails before it will consider killing anything

Burner? A4 has no after burner
RWR's are pretty bugged right now. Even friendlies flying several KM in front of you, you'll still receive their RWR spikes including missile launches. It's pretty fucked. Was like this kinda before too but now that they've updated the RWR's they've screwed it a bit more. In typical gaijin fashion it'll get better but it's gonna take a few months
Backlobe radar returns causes the RWR alert from friendlies kms infront of you.
Rwr is being very finicky rn in terms of missile launch warnings. Oftentimes you’ll find that it’s just lying
Yeah the rebound is just silly at times, you can have a launch warning from a friendly that is firing on someone when that friendly is facing away from you…
Why viggens still dont have this cool cockpit HUDs, ive see nothing by my eyes. I have contact but i cant realise where the f are they in front of me. I hate gjines so much

Feels so soulless compared to Razbam's work. Audio design is dead, lack of AP and proper system modellisation, even the flight model, somehow i'm not flying myself but it still seems sooo wrong. I guess today isn't the day I relapse in the War Thunder addiction
It’s razbams best work when it comes to quality, lovely jet to fly also. The audio ain’t the biggest hurdle for me it’s the flight models. DCS does the feeling of flight soo much better.
Don't forget war thunder has 1000's of planes and tanks, can't really take the time to make everything proper on every single vehicle. F you for making me defend this game.
