There are notches sometimes already engraved into the mesh so you can only adjust accordingly to each notch within the mesh groove. Hope this makes sense if you are stuck with trying to close it
OPEN: Use a wine opener to open the flap in order to get the tip inside/under it with just a turn so you can pull straight upwards and not use the bar as a leverage for your screwdriver, as it bends easily because there is much strenth needed. CLOSE: use just fingertips, it needs strenth but it will close, you will feel the moment it gives (being inside the groove), don't use pliers- even your figernails will scratch the metal.
@@nirjaa28 I couldn't close it with my fingers. Ended up covering the clasp with couple layers of fabric and pushed it gently with pliers, then it closed.
Thanks for the help, just bought a watch with a strap like this and it was sooo frustrating because the clasp was over halfway up the strap and couldn't even fit my son. I was thinking about returning it until i watched this video. Cheers man 😁
ol for anyone who can't figure it out, there are certain stops on the strap, you can only close them there on the spots not anywhere. So once they're in that position, it closes as easily as in the vid. thank me later

The instructions said NOTHING about the band adjustment! I was really regretting that I bought this crap! Glad I watched this video. The focus and glare was bad but at Ieast I figured it out
I found it easier to wear this type of strap, especially with round watch or heavy watch you need some grip on it so it wont slides away when you try to hook them, by placing them the opposite way from the usual. Like if u have leather straps, u wear them reversed, the shorter one goes to the 6 oclock side and the longer one with holes on it goes to the 12 oclock side. Try it!

I had the same problem and then realized I put it on it upside down haha after watching this I could easily repair it!
I could close mine with my fingers, just make sure you have it in a groove :) now my watch works and actually fits for once!!
