Each game has it's own cheese, but I feel like MMBN3 had the hardest Bass. If you weren't cheesing the hell out of him, Bass Omega is not only difficult to dodge, but difficult to hurt at all. He has a regenerating 200 damage threshold aura that essentially made it impossible to kill without properly preparing. Even the meteor strategy hinges on having all three Fire+30, several area grabs, and a grass terrain in order to break the shield and properly decimate Bass. Also, remember that in order to face Bass Omega, you also need to beat three waves of Aura bugs which made it extremely tedious to retry the fight over and over.
@@xbon1if memory serves correct, he was created as one of the first net navis but was soon blamed for some malfunctioning or something (“Alpha” was the actual culprit). Ended up being hunted by the same humans who created him.
@@xbon1 Gonna put a spoiler warning just in case for folks scrolling aimlessly 👍 . . . . . Scilabs had numerous projects going on roughly 20 years before the games. He meant well but only Cossack understood that. Hence why everyone else jumped to delete him.
Fun Fact: DarkGregarz doesn't show it, but BassXX is also in MMBN4. Like BN5, he replaces BassOmega as the random encounter in Black Earth 2 if you have an e-reader mod card active. Any plans to update this with either Network Transmission, WS, or 4.5? I’d also say Battle Chip Challenge or Battle Chip Stadium but those would be overkill… and bad for your sanity.
Network Transmission isn't a straight fight: it's basically a puzzle boss. That version of him has *TEN THOUSAND* HP, is _completely immune_ to the Buster...... but you can beat him with only doing 120 damage. See, his pattern is that he's got a barrier, which you have to do +100 damage to break, then he only takes damage from battle chips. _Any_ battle chip. So, Zapring 1 does 20 damage, for example (there's weaker chips, but none that are practical to try to hit him with), and he regenerates the barrier, repeat 4 more times, then he stops regenerating the barrier, and the sixth chip hit ends the fight. 120 damage total (plus >500 anti-barrrier damage. If I remember my calculations right, the fully upgraded buster's charge shot in that game does 80 damage). "Legitimately," if you had enough chips for 6 LifeSword3s, that's 2,400 damage you could do. If you use cheats so everything dies in one hit, _he doesn't even have a programmed script for dying;_ his bar will show 0 HP, but you still have to damage him 6 times with chips. Tho, Gregarz: if you use Dolphin: A few years ago I did get a few hackers together to make the "Have all chips" Gecko cheat code, if you just wanna rush through that game for the footage.... oh wow, that old thread still exists: www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1941 The other big cheat for that game is to use up all your chips except the ones you want for the fight-- say, whatever Invisibility and Life Sword version you have at that point, and have a full custom bar and the PA already ready before going in.
