So inspiring from a humble person along her path in life and now helping others in a great way.

Wonderful talk! I can't help but feel that when a nun/monk gives a talk, it's respectful for the audience to sit and listen without multitasking - AKA eating, talking, or being on one's phone - but perhaps the culture is different there.

i wonder why there are some criticizing comments.
    why are they frustrated?
i wish they are in peaceful mind after they criticized Buddhism.

Great Talk. However, we are missing all slides. Camera man needs awakening.

At first sight I was upset, because of people's dinner and noise. But then they had great questions and I really did enjoy to learn a lot - also about my own arrogance.

Happy ex-banker survives being kidnapped and gets her whole world turned upside down by the experience. You miss nothing only because you don't know enough. Too bad we'll never meet. I wish you well.

I never understood these settings. Either you eat or you listen to someone's speech. So disrespectful. Respect she pushed through anyways.

As a British Cantonese... I feel that, this situation... she should've been back to the UK's Buddhist temples or whatever. Cos I don't think that she should've been part of the Bhutan's Buddhist temple.... Some of the cultures and the civilisation structures within SE Asia... they do have a structure.. and it isn't as clear cut... As her assumption to be. And it is knowing this part.. to understand what you can and cannot do. And why the boundaries, or what. Cos I thought that.... yoga... this was definitely exported into the West.. but it was kind of wrongly exported per se. Cos in the East... the buddhism.... Some, is actually a semi form of "military" grouping.. or some were old "activists" from Imperial Days.... So she has to be careful where she lies in her loyalty. Buddhism, the concept... is meant to be more on a daily basis, cos people often fights. So... yes.. it is a form of not fighting each other. But at the same time... some people also see work, or businesses, as a form of diversion and diversion of one's ego on a daily basis. I think the statue of the Buddha is a worship of the past people. It is a kind of memorial.... and what those scripts are... written... is a personal memoir... So... This is why... She needs to understand that, her experience is not her fault. Cos there is a hidden agenda... behind that Indonesian man's intent. I can see what the other ladies are doing... about the karmic cycle. And I can see that other lady is also in tears. I do wonder though... permit me for saying this in public... on the net too. I hope that somebody in HSBC would read this. If Bhutan or Indonesia.. is experiencing trouble with birthing... then... Would they consider... or to ask help... to ask for help. In finding solutions to reduce future issues of disabled children? We're talking of gene therapies or whatever it may be. Obviously somebody within their structures... are or were.. the residual second world war issues.. We know that. And maybe those bad karmas from those bad days... can then be turned into a good karmic cycle. Whatever was done before.. in our previous generation and our past... Suffering... This.. kind of world war suffering.. is also not on Emma's shoulders to bear... and to be a burden of. Today, it is 2022.... Whatever those countries need. Surely.. we need to correct that right ?
