Kampala's Slum Status

  • The world bank warns that massive migration to the city could turn Uganda's capital into one big slum. Kampala currently hosts a population of 3.5 million people and is expected to grow to ten million in the next ten years. The biggest percentage of the migrants are youth who are in search of employment. Hillary Ayesiga with that report

    I agree. But you need to also build affordable houses.

      Let me tell u in east europe is the same situation ,houses are not affordble ,cus has no law from the government to not increase it . Here we are just one level above africa ,people outside big cities live similar and only cus is europe has no slums like this . People cant aford nothing ,landloards use the capitalism to do buisness and some has even several apartments and they give it for big price .
