There is nothing more disheartening than watching a guy 1 mile away from the rim hit the shot consistently, and then proceed to completely erase a 10 point lead in less than 4 possessions. He literally drains the life out of his opponents. All it takes is one 3 from Curry to create anxiety.

Mj, Iverson, Lebron and Steph are the most influential players of all time.
MJ's influence was becoming the 1st player to be really branded that way. Everyone my age that grew up in the 90s wanted to "Be Like Mike"! Plus hes the Goat.
If MJ made you want to be like him, Iverson made you proud to be yourself. He was the guy that integrated "The Culture" with the NBA. They literally created the dress code because of him.
Lebron's independence is his biggest influence. Not even MJ had power like Lebron. Hes the first guy to really control his own sports destiny and it's a big reason why owners and teams root for him to fail. Lebron also made team ball and making the right play cool again. He damn near has completely gotten rid of the hero ball era and the acceptance of hero ball.
Steph made the 3 ball what dunking was for 40 years. He completely changed the way you guard players and the way you draft players.
In a smaller way I would say Dirk deserves some mention also for big men shooting from deep and changing the way Americans looked at Euro players.

Stephen Curry is more influential on and off court in terms of just basketball. This man single handedly changed the dynamic of how every single basketball team plays.. The first thing you see in a gym nowadays is little kids attempting 3 pointers, college basketball teams are either driving to the basket or shooting 3s, the mid-range jumpshot is almost completely overlooked now. Curry smaller stature compared to other basketball players is very relatable to many kids who don’t have freakish athletic genes and is inspiring because Curry DOMINATES for his size. While it’s a great thing, everyone made it look like it’s unprecedented. The whole thing was orchestrated to be a big deal. David Robinson opened a school ‘IDEA Carver Academy’ in 2001 and has been a voice for education for decades. He’s done and continues to do more but it’s not in the media and he doesn’t care.

In MJ’s era everybody wanted to be like Jordan, lebron even said himself (i’m chasing a ghost from chicago) if ya don’t believe me look it up. Everyone wanted to be dunkin’ the ball with their tongue sticking out like MJ. Now a days everybody wants to shoot the 3s more then anything. Even the NBA teams has shot more 3’s then EVER before.....that says alot. Curry is on his own kind of league🐐 #RuinTheGame #iWill

Lebron is great overall player he can play pretty much every position but Steph is much much more influential you can see the difference how the game is played now...and mostly that's because of him. That's his impact on the Game
there's a difference between TREND SETTER and a GAME CHANGER and you'll know who's who...Stop Hatinnn

What Stephen A. in essence is saying that Lebron is more relatable as a black man because he grew up poor with no father versus Steph growing up with in a nuclear black family with two college educated parents. And that is unfortunate.

Yeah the black community defenitely gives lebron love . Dude has never been in any trouble and like you said growing up without a father , but too see him actually be a good father to his kids is the African American dream

Steph this little 6'3" average looking dude with a baby face, you can't get more relatable than that. He every man, every kid in America on the court pulling up from deep. Most know they my never grow up to be 6'8" 275 like that other guy, but the might grown to be the size of Steph. Family man, spiritual, good with his kids too. That other guy been around a lot long and has had more time to establish himself off the court, but Steph been giving back with his own social causes too. So for some of us he is more relatable than that other guy. And he's humble as hell, not like that other guy. It's my team, my guys, my legacy, I'm the greatest of all time. No Steph way more relatable, period.
