An amazing display of layouts and well narrated, two thumbs up. Caroline Concrete Works looks familiar, think I've seen it in a magazine somewhere, looks bigger than I thought.
What a brilliant, and well edited video. Must have taken ages. Especially like the different view of law junction. My favourite was the dollar canyon I think, and the long trains. If you intend to buy it (appreciate expensive), would be great to hear your thoughts on tt120. Great job Matt
Thanks Matt, I’m certainly going to dip my toe into TT not sure what I’m going to model yet it’s bit of a gamble to pick the right era so your not waiting too long for a decent collection to build up but does sound like Hornby have their foot on the accelerator with this project
Thanks! Excellent video, as ever. Your comments on the 3mm/TT layout (not the Hornby one) are the sort of reason why I think it's a good idea that Hornby have gone for 1:120, not 3mm, as it means you can use continental manufacturer's kits, people etc without them looking a bit small, as you do when you use HO on a OO gauge layout.
Yes I’ve seen a lot of negative comments about Hornby’s TT range and why I don’t agree with all their practices of introducing this new scale (but they run a business and I don’t do what do I know) one thing I am glad they put thought into is making a universal scale that will allow use of American and European products.
This 72 year old Michigander has a 48 sq ft layout in a spare room went with N Scale as a result. Have to agree about the handling of the details. ‘Fiddly’ is a good word to describe it. Am really happy to find your channel and see TT Scale in action.
@@WesternSignalman Some of the usual trade was definitely missing this time. Plus what was there was selling exactly the same as the same stuff as everyone else. Maybe it's a sign of what's to come in today's climate. Warley will be the indicator.
I was there on Saturday as well. Like you say it wasn’t as busy although it is 3 years ago I last visited. I’ not convinced it’s a good venue for an exhibition. I remember the first one they held was not very well planned. Having a large layout at the top of the escalators. It has improved since then. Good show though. The prices of models, rolling stock etc seems to have gone through the roof and still rising. Where will it end? Sorry forgot to say "excellent video" lol
Excellent video. It makes a huge difference to have the narrated information about the layouts. Absolutely makes it.
Thoroughly excellent, thank you.
Thanks for the kind comment and thanks for watching it’s always good to get feedback on the narration
I like the fact you have your son interested in the railways early!
I don’t think I could stop him if I tried, he loves railways.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Thank you very much for creating and uploading this video.
And thank you for watching and commenting it’s most appreciated
There is nothing like the real thing but this is close enough. Excellent
Very true, but there was great layouts there that made you feel like you where almost watching the real thing 👍
Ah, that was simply a joy to watch. Thank you for posting.
No worries Scott thanks for watching
Thanks for the view of the new size Hornby layout.
No problem I thought people might like to see

I think it was in BRM it’s certainly not a small layout
@@WesternSignalman I've only caught a glimpse of it in that magazine, couldn't quite ake out the size but it looked like an interesting theme.

As ever an excellent video with your usual well spoken commentary ably assisted by your junior commentator 😊
Thanks but I couldn’t have done it without the boy 😆
An interesting video, and I too look forward to TT120, and hope to see some mixed international hardware on the track.
Certainly opens up opportunities the Ho and oo just can’t provide
Thanks! Excellent video, as ever.

Much quieter than normal but still a great show
It was very quite I was really surprised wasn’t as much trade there this year either

Good filming except for the continuous and irritating child’s commentary -
That’s my son
