When I worked in the clothing industry we called that fabric "ditzy prints". Meaning small floral prints. I love your channel! Thank for the other vintage You tube channel references.
It's quickly become my favourite decade for fashion ! I never gave it a proper chance before but after trying on some 1930s pieces I think it really suits me!
I love this idea of breaking down your inspiration for the season and I just love everything here you put!! So smart! I agree, I think the 30s suits you so well💗
Just started watching and and was completely caught off guard when you mentioned me lol! Thanks for that 🤍 This coat is also one of my favorite items in my collection 🥰 And 1930s fashion suits you soo much! Looking forward to see your spring fits 🌸
OK but you have the best style so of course I had to shout out your IG and RUclips 🥰 . I LOVEEE that coat! I've been looking for something similar but I haven't been able to find one (yet!) Thank you! I agree actually, I think it suits me a bit more than 1940s ? I need to find some more 1930s pieces this season.
That street scene from the 30s looks amazing. There's so many women and men in white- or cream-colored hats. I'll be wearing mine this Spring. I really like that gold and black outfit you showed!
Off topic but did you notice the 1950s time traveller in the 30s street scene? At the 5:55 mark there's a guy with a swept back pompadour, white T, and black drape pants. Everyone else around him is wearing suits, ties, fedoras or straw boaters, and he's standing there like Brando!
You went through the color boards so fast I had to go back and freeze frame each one to look at it in depth. So beautiful. The attention to detail is amazing.
Haha I originally had each colour up the screen for longer but the awkward silence was too much 😂 . I wanted to give an overall feel of the colour as I said it and I figured anyone could pause if they wanted to look at all the details.
Morning Carolina its 2.07am here in Melbourne, bad little me is still awake ,but after watching your video so worth it , in hence saying this I too love the 1930s not a fan of the 40s hate shoulder pads too ,I feel the 30s were softer and very romantic looking well time for sleep Hugs Evie xo
Just started watching a show that made me think of you "Bomb Girls". It's on RUclips if you search Bomb Girls 01 of 19 (the channel has a playlist of seasons 1&2 and then the short movie finale). I think you would love the fashion! 😉 Still love that brown knit dress on you! Best of luck for your upcoming spring thrifting!!! ☺💕
What was the vintage style show on RUclips that you said was good for inspiration ? Love from Dee in Kentucky ! You would look fabulous at the Derby !!!! 🧚🏻♀️💕💐🥰❤️🥰
So many beautiful pictures in this video! Very well put together. I ADORE that video from Glamour Daze, too. My favorite fashion is usually from the late 1930s-early 1940s. What a fun video!
Well the reason 1930’s were much softer is because the economy was bad and when times are bad people think of the good old days , where there was puffy sleeves and all that And the reason 1940’s has that shoulder pad is because of war, people needed more strength and that’s why the fashion changed Same for the whole rayon fabric , the reason lots of 1940’s dresses are in rayon is because that’s what was available back then But I am just like you, I’ve took out all the shoulder pads off my 1940’s dresses 😬
And how about something out in the about in the outfit you have on for this video? Hat and necklace included. Just seated in the "talking head" mode doesn't do it complete justice.

The 30’s are one of my favourites. Truly lovely fashions! I love the 1930’s textiles.

Emi's vintage is adorable also. I could see you 2 doing a collab with your lovely syles
The Bonnie Blouse from The House of Foxy is so pretty and those Memery shoes are spot on.

Thank you ! Me too ! I can't wait to see the flowers bloom
I’ve been seeing this sage green trench boat on Instagram. When I see it again, I will tag you.
That print design is referred to as a ditsy floral!
I sent you pics on Messenger of 2 purses.I found on Poshmark you might like.❤

Those prints look a lot like those feed sack or flour sack dresses that were made by women during the Great Depression.
Yes ! I agree! I just don't know what that style of floral is called without describing where it comes from.
I call them kitchsy print!!❤
And how about something out in the about in the outfit you have on for this video? Hat and necklace included. Just seated in the "talking head" mode doesn't do it complete justice.
There is a reel on my instagram where I show the whole outfit actually ! 😊
