- Russia launched a fresh wave of missile and drone attacks on Kyiv and the western Ukrainian city of Lviv on Wednesday, the latest in a series of strikes targeting population centres. The attacks are part of a “clear strategy to terrorise the Ukrainian population”, says France 24’s Douglas Herbert.

Ukraine has the missile technology. They have their own long range cruise missiles and drones. It just lacks the production capacity. That's where the west can help. Provide parts to order for Ukraine's own designs.

Russian retaliation is beginning to turn the screw, for recent Ukrainian drone attacks on Moscow and surrounding areas, Russian forces are giving Ukraine and the West a taste of what's to come if Western weapons land in Russian citys or military installations. The military training institute in Poltava had dozens of western instructors also.

I have no idea why the guest is arguing what he's arguing. Given that it would be a foolish strategy, Russia DGAF about Western resolve on this matter. They've been playing a defensive game in a war of attrition while they build up their ground forces to eventually go back in and completely smash all of Ukraine (which is, at this point, inevitable). Just for some context, it took the Germans and Soviets over 500,000 soldiers to take Kiev during the Second World War, and by the end of the year, the Russians are expected to have built-up their ground forces within the AO to 750,000 soldiers (up from the 150,000 that they initially went in with at the start of the conflict). Now, if their puppet leader had any integrity, he would resign, go into exile, and allow a non-NATO aligned puppet to begin negotiations to save 'his' country, but sadly, we know that will never happen.
This may be true. Russia is not the good guy. Yet the EU ignores a far worse war in Palestine.
