Thanks, i do a lot under the hood to squeeze the most out of the R3D files. Best codec in the biz

Thanks, I'm currently working on pre-production for my next short film. I'll start tutorial series after that (a month from now). More footage coming soon tho.

thank you! My next short film is coming soon. Can't wait to use this power grade on this film. :) OG Komogo is a true beast of a camera.

oh my god this looks great! how did you get such a dense color but not oversaturated look?
This feels more like film due to the density without having to dehance the color in to oblivion with all effects turned on to maximum obviousness. Its not faded down to log for murky low contrast under exposed grossness that seems be all the rave on youtube and streaming movies. Dammit this looks good!

hey hey! Thanks for watching. I am sharing some tech tests for a short film I am directing (and shooting). The good news is, I am going to make some tutorials next month on color for the movie. The bad news is, I do everything in DaVinci (maybe not bad news if you use DaVinci too). Also I hate the LOG look, I love color!!

@@fourth1000 what cam do you have now? Tbh I was totally stuck on Varicam but it started getting too big to lug around. So I decided to start using my Komodo bcz it's so small and global shutter. Now Im starting to really see that camera doesn't matter, and post production is the key. R3D codec is the best. I'm gonna post some wide shots over the weekend. Get ready!

First kook feels pretty sci fi; second look feels modern day crime drama

I added a little Blade Runner OST in the background to compliment the visuals 😉

Thanks! Tiffen. But I get great results with the cheapo ones on Amazon. Just make sure to buy a little larger than your lens so you can use the best part of your glass. I have one expensive set in LA and one rugged set in Chicago, and honestly I can't tell that much of a difference except on the +10. hope that helps :)
