    Somerset region is completey devastated by this rain, my friends have already lost their homes there and are completely cut off from everything else due to the road closures. This is insane especially with everything going on with the world rn.

    Thanks for that very informative vid, my wife's son has moved to Brisbane and she has been worried about how this disaster will affect him. I've used your footage to show the topography of Brisbane and how varied the flooding is. Thanks for all your work, it's a great help.

    Amazing how fast the water level rises. I was doing some menu log driving the night around 7:30 before and did a delivery to units opposite the Regatta. Land Street had flooded but you still get across Sylvan Road. But not the next day.
    Likewise, the 5 way intersection was still above water then, but Milton State School was under.

    • @TriFitwithTimandAmanda
      @TriFitwithTimandAmanda  2 года назад +1

      Yes it rises quickly. We saw a car parked in the side of the road with water up to the headlights. We went back an hour later and it was halfway up the windscreen

    With Milton road, does that guy still live there that dresses the nun up in the front window ? It would be on the left side when travelling inbound.
    Milton and Eagle tce looks too deep to cross. It would be up to your chest with no view of what is below. I know that street and have driven it many times.

    It would be interesting to track down who owned the block land that was sold in flood area or which council changed the zoning so they could be sold for residential because the council gives out DA approval with the DA approval you are guaranteed to have a safe environment for a house because of the engineers solicitors town planning and other people involved you cannot get a DA by yourself you cannot build a house anywhere by yourself it must be council approved. So there's no one else to put the blame if the council has given permission to build and have dwellings in an unsafe environment duty of care has been killed. There is only one group there is only one body that can be blamed for this and that is the Council. So it is simple dig up the records find out who owned the blocks of land that have been changed by zoning so they can be sold for residential or commercial sites and if these blocks of land that was sold to the individuals without warning of flood area then the council is 100% liable simple you say greed and corruption there must be a cost and land developers manipulate with solicitors and barristers to change the wording to manipulate the wording so it can be sold not ethical not morally right but a friend of mine in business said there's no sentiment in business. But I say if you have been caught with your fingers in a fraud it's very hard to clean them. What happened to the ombudsman are they a toothless Tiger what happened to the corruption body well we all know what happened with the casinos they were bought out. Big money has it got any shame is there any accountability it looks like only when you get caught out well they certainly have because the evidence is in plain sight

    • @brianholloway1451
      @brianholloway1451 2 года назад

      @G Atkins the trouble is we can now see in plain sight where the problem lies. A lot of people haven't got any common sense at all that's why we have councils ministrations engineers and advisors so you don't buy in dangerous areas. But when when developers pressure counsellors and they change the zones that's when it's 100% fraud. It's like what's happening now with the Pope he's trying to bring in a green Sabbath Sunday which does not exist which is a total lie fabrication distortion and total deception. In actual fact according to scripture Catholics are not Christian. But you have a lot of problems with the hierarchy they have given an enormous amount of miscommunications to their parishioners distortion lies and going totally against Jesus Christ. But the priests and nuns who dedicate their lives to Christ it is an enormous distress on Christ as Christ warns his followers get out of Babylon so if you are a Christian you need to do one thing read Scripture as Jesus said my people are perishing for lack of knowledge
