There was a scene in one of those old Skippy‘s where he’s supposed to be operating a radio, and they must have just taken the legs off a kangaroo and use them as props because all you see is too little leg moving the dial then a shot of skippys face like it was him doing it. They must’ve amputated two legs off maybe a passed away kangaroo like this one for that scene.

Gday ,ate when changing wheels to gravel what adjustment do you need to do as i run cable gears and had to put a wolf link in to run a wide range cassette then take it off to run the short range casstte😊

I can vouch for these kids school visits. My 9 year old granddaughter had a learn to ride session and now rides to and from school 4 days a week. She also likes racing her pop on the MTB on weekends.😮

That sounds like a cool job. They should do this in the UK. My 9 year old daughter would love it, she loves riding her bike🚴‍♀️

Kind of miss Adelaide. Moved up to Queensland this year. The weather is much better, but I guess you can get bored of sunshine. Exercise Is clearly keeping you young. Keep up the great work guys.

Hoka Bondis are cushioned, but the cushioning is like a dead brick 😂

I bought these because I have heel bursitis (similar symptoms to haglunds). They are good because the back of it is soft and not rigid. Wore them for the first time today and they are nice. Soft feel, bouncy, and the flyknit feel wrapping your foot is pleasant. But i didnt like them on the wobbly gravel section of my run. They were good on the road/concrete. I found it hard to run at an easy 5min/km. I ended up running in the 4.20s because they were bouncy and fun.

Is that v8 customized? How did you make the bow and stern blue?

My only issue with extreme rocker shoe designs is they tend be a culprit for plantar issues. Why? Your foot is in a position not that dissimilar to high heal shoes (i.e., toes kept in an unnaturally bent upward position). This uneven distribution of weight and forced stretched by unsupported (relatively speaking) arch position plus upwardly bent toes inhibits natural lengthening and shortening of the Achilles tendon. The lack of full range of movement of the Achilles Tendon pulls on the plantar fascia causing inflammation of the Plantar Fasciitis ligament and uneven distribution of weight (i.e., more impact directed and absorbed by the metatarsals) can cause Metatarsalgia.

Mizuno do pretty well with their netball shoes. Basically them and asics have that market to them selves.

Nice Tim. I'll stick them on my list. Just started using Bondi 8s and like them other than their bloody innersoles gave me blisters from the ball of my foot to my arch. My young bloke had the same problem. I've started using the inner sole out of my trail shoes (North Face) and the problem is fixed. Except comfy as they are and easy on the elderly joints they are sooooo bloody slow.

Gotta say, this video's at bit of an iload, although....that steering wheel 🤔

Before Amanda (and Mel) were born the family had a caravan holiday and stayed in both Lightning Ridge and Walgett - I remember swimming in the artesian baths in both places!

Definitely heard of Hebel blocks - very similar to the grey blocks of which some toilet blocks are built (though I think they're a bit more lightweight than the concrete ones)

I should have told you to keep an eye out for a Hilux with ACT plates towing a "Ralph" (ie 4WD/AWD van) as Jen and Ron are "north" on a holiday and they like stopping at the free campsites too...

Hey mate. That problem with ya van sounds a lot like one I battled with with mine. Obviously different vehicle but sounds identical symptoms. Mine was a high pressure valve on the fuel. But what do I know? I worked on pushies. 😅😅

I have a sort of Hebel block story. A friend of mine was working in the Hebel area back in the 80's and stopped for a pub lunch. When he and his workmate came out there was an auction for blocks of land in the main street. The auctioneer was just about to pass in a block with no bidders and they asked him if there was a reserve. he said no reserve. They had 50 bucks in loose notes between them so they bid $50 and found themselves in possession of a block of land in Hebel. I never did hear what he did with it but I doubt he built a house on it. Loving your scenes of the inland. I really need to head out bush for a good drive it's so relaxing. But seriously Google tells me a Hebel block is a building material not a piece of land in Hebel.

Hebel blocks are real. You can build a house with it. I've been to hebel
