Please I tried using vidpsalm with vmix...so each time I go full screen to project on a projector,...I get something blur
May I offer a tip on making these tutorials? We don't need to see Tim's face as much as we need to see the vMix interface so as to see what Tim is doing with the mouse pointer. In particular, we need time (a couple seconds) to spot the mouse pointer on the screen when Tim moves it to a feature in the interface that he's talking about. So you need to cut to the interface SOONER to give us sufficient time to spot the mouse pointer. Then you need to leave the interface on the screen long enough for us to see what is being clicked, and the effect of that action. Of course, it would be even better if you used one of the methods Windows offers for highlighting the mouse pointer -- like trails. As long as we can HEAR Tim, we don't need to see his face; we only need to see the vMix user interface.

Specifically, this entire video hinges on 3:30, where Tim says "so now I'm going to go back to overlays", not making clear *that's a button on the screen* -- I had to watch that 4 times to see that he was clicking a button in the lower right corner of the screen.
How would you setup a banner to show up every 5 minutes during play of an entire video?

You can, but there are a few limitations. You can't switch the cameras within vMix, you can only use the output from the ATEM Mini- ruclips.net/video/SFUxKLcNuSI/видео.html
ok you showed how you adjust the overlays but how do you create and add them?
Hi, you always have 4 overlay channels to be used, so to adjust their position and transition you just need to go into the overlay settings shown. Then any of your inputs can be placed into an overlay channel by pressing 1-4 beneath. When I push 1 for the title overlay to come up on the live screen. The live screen black out and the title is stacked on top of another title that I didn't click on. How do I fix this problem?

Wait....so when you made your title (box #7 in your video) and assigned it to #1 button, does that mean on ALL other inputs (?) boxes, when you click ANY #1, that title fades in? Meaning, that one title, assigned to button #1, always shows up anywhere you click on the #1 button? How do you remember what 'thing' is assigned to which numbered button? 1, 2, 3, and 4?
Any of the inputs can be put in the overlay channels. These are used for temporary overlays such as titles.
Is it possible to add a "blur overlay" so that I can blur out a portion of one of my screen inputs (like usernames)?
I've tried following what you've done here but when I click the one the lower third simply refreshes in the preview and does not show up in the output

So if i have BASIC HD i can only have 1 overlay channel but 4 overlays inside that channel?
Yes, vMix Basic HD has 4 inputs and 1 Overlay.
Why Would audio suddenly stop when clicking videos playing on overlays?

I use ppt input form my church streaming for hymns lyrics
I also creat an overlay for the streamed output
And I also use as the same ppt while in the overview as full screen output for projecting the lyrics on the walls for those at church
It works very well EXCEPT it adds a distortion to the audio line
What am I doing wrong?
The distortion to the audio line output happens only when I click the fullscreen button

can u crate your own overlays and import it into vmix?
Yes, you could create images or videos and add them to your vMix production. You can also use the GT title designer to import elements and create titles. ruclips.net/video/emScjEUVrJc/видео.html

If you need more than 4, I'd look at creating layers as opposed to the temporary overlays. You can add 10 layers to an input + 4 temporary overlay channels. ruclips.net/video/tvl6v1GX_-A/видео.html
4:27 Tim always says "Hold down shift to zoom in or zoom out".

Hi, Here's an older video that discusses adding clocks in vMix- ruclips.net/video/k1EBxYmDyJQ/видео.html. The latest version of vMix has a Clocks option when you go into the title editor so you can easily choose what you want to display.

How to use Slingbox Pro HD with vmix?
I'm not sure. It's not something we've ever used and don't know how it outputs video.
It outputs through Lan.
If I have several images in a folder and some will be full screen and some will be partial screen, how do I apply and save the individual overlay settings instead of all slide overlays having the same size/position, etc? Thanks!

But how do you make the key work? I created the overlay but nothing works. You do not explain how the key works. You just blab away. You should show how it works. I spend good money on a complicated piece of software with no real hands-on video. I don't understand any of this crap. You say easily. I am lost. I pushed every button on this thing and the key wont work
